Yeah, some people didn't like it, but I thought Kasumi's mission was awesome.

If you were to go onto the Bioware forums everything Bioware releases is the worst thing ever. I've thankfully cut back on visiting those boards for the most part except to check for news (and StarCraft being out helped quite a bit).

Yeah, I used to post on Bioware's boards all the time. Well, "all the time" is an exaggeration, but I posted there quite a bit. And yeah, now I just go there to look for bits of news and to read developer posts. There's so much negativity and cynicism there, if I spend too much time reading that nonsense I start to buy into it.

But it's not unique to Bioware's forums. I used to post a lot on Bethesda's forums too and it's the same deal there.

I have yet to play the renagade in ME2. My first play through I imported my renegade Shep from ME1, after I beat ME2 (and Miranda died) I decided to go back through ME1, level up an uber paragon to import to ME2 and did so...I continued on being a paragon and in the end my team all survived.

I just can't be much of a jerk in ME2...I plan on playing through ME2 again as a paragon but I'm going to wait until the latest DLC hits. I have them all, and I've yet to play them because none of them are post end game missions. I really hope the one with Liara and the Shadow Broker takes place AFTER you beat the game.

I like to play the good guy but sometimes people need bullets in their heads/to be on the end of a savage beating.

Yeah, my Shepard is a good guy through and through, but he's not afraid to get his hands dirty.

All Shepards are good guys. Paragons are just ****ies.

Though, to be fair, some of the Renegade stuff borders on stupidity.

On a related note: I want to make a human supremacist Shepard one of these days. Go Cerberus!

I tend to play a Paragon who will occasionally be more pragmatic than idealistic my first time through when I'm just doing whatever and learning the game. I'm not sure because it was a while ago, but I believe my Shep in ME 1 did just about every nice thing you possibly could but refused to allow the Rachni to survive.

Oh don't get me wrong, I may have been paragon but I wasn't against punching out Zaeed when he was being an uberdouche, or putting ANYONE in their place that needed it.

I was a good guy, yes...but I wasn't a pussyfoot good guy.

Zaeed could have been a really cool character if they would have put the same effort into him they put into Shale.

If they had just given them regular convo's it would have gone a long way to helping Zaeed and Kasumi (albeit she is a far stronger character than he).

I mean they could have seriously reduced Shep's input and let them blather on but the way it is now its just such a disconnect to the other squad members. I'm always like 'oh yeah you're here' when they show up in shots during the suicide mission.

It doesn't help that literally every interaction with Zaeed on the ship is just him blabbing forever about some stupid conquest or other. He's like the ship's grandfather. You try to be nice and say hi and next thing you know he's trying to rope you into a 3-hour description of how he wrestled a lasergator on Tarnax IV or whatthef***ever.

Confirmed at Gamescom. Just Mass Effect 2 though. I'm guessing 3 as well.
