If cops don't want to be cops, that's more then cool. They shouldn't be cops. But between those that shoot people holding a cellphone and those that run from gunmen marching down babies, it seems way too many cops want to be paid to not do the job. And the way the fraternity protects one another, it's extremely hard to respect the profession and those that decide to work it.

It begs the question, why did these people want to be cops in the first place? If you're not going to do the one thing in your job description (PROTECT) then what was it that made you want to be a cop?

It feels like being able to speed and park wherever they want are their real desires.

I have seen comparisons to the CA church shooting, god, was it only last week? or 2? Unarmed civilians were able to do what this police department wasn't.

And the sad thing is, the evil Texas trio (Abbott, Paxton, and Patrick) will not have the balls to call this out. Neither will Cruz. Hell, good chance they will still show up at the NRA convention. Cornyn at least had the sense to cancel.
