I'll grant you though, that the 80's shows lacked depth. Seriously so even. I also won't deny that the overuse of stock footage brought the visual quality quite a few pegs down. But by the same token, the old shows had heart! Sure they were meant to sell toys, but they also had genuine fun factor and adventures that made your imagination wander freely.
Don't get me wrong, there are some shows today that are really good all around, but I can count a lot more clunkers now than those from my days (and that include some shows I didn't care for).
Btw, anyone else would have preferred the He-Man movie happening strictly on Eternia?
Yes...it would have been better on Eternia...then Beastmaster 2 did the same thing.
