Damn, McKidd's pal in Rome, Ray Stevenson is a good choice for Thor. 6'4", body like a wrestler, can act. Should've been a no brainer. He gets the Punisher 2 role instead.

I can't see Stevenson as Thor. He'd be a better Punisher and he would have been a great and big Ben Grimm/Thing.

I like it. Once he's dressed up with the hair and costume...you guys will love it i'm sure. Triple H is a joke for a role like this. This guy can deliver the lines which is most important.

Maybe they will dub Triple H and just use his body. Might be the best answer. Cause, we can see his glorious acting in Blade: Trinity. Not right for Thor, but might be a good choice if he was dubbed.
And I have seen this strike mentioned, but what is happening? Who is going on strike?

I was thinking abou Kevin McKidd from Dog Soldiers, Rome and Trainspotting for the role. As long as he doesn't do his scottish accent he should be cool. His better that Triple H anyway.

If anything he just really has to bulk up, maybe 30lbs of muscle. Not impossible with the right trainer.

I am ok with this. I like McKidd as an actor. Sure Thor is huge but so is Superman but he is never that big in the films. As longas Mckidd can bulk up some I am cool.

It's the same with casting all these supermodels as Wonder Woman. Come on now. Just because the characters are known for having perfect 10 bodies it's not going to be that accurate in the real world.

They were never going to find a 6'7 muscular 300 lb guy who can act to ple Thor. Also Thor has always had long hair I'd be pissed if they didnt give the actor long hair for the role.

Ok (early) MacGyver long hair, but not Fabio long hair, okay. Very long hair certainly doesn't look good with McKidd's kind of compact face.
