Max steel

I don't know how but max steel was ok at times but made no sense and felt out of place at times. I never watched either cartoon show so maybe that's why it was sorta confusing to me.

Like why not give more info on ultra links, is that what miles was since he built his own suit, the ultra links were the same as steel but just bad and can manipulate weather, why was steel good and the ultralinks were not, so his dad was an alien that everyone knew about except his own son and his son would have never even found this stuff out unless he didn't start producing that tachyon stuff.

Does the cartoon make more sense out of this. Felt like they wasted a really good idea on a terrible movie.

Yeah, just watch the cartoon, either of them, doesn't matter which.
They didn't even have the budget to add his buddies from the show if they could barely touch on this "lore". Felt the need to focus on...*shrug*
it was such a bare-bones story being drawn out for a feature length time.

The thing that kinda annoyed me the most was his relationship with Sophia. He did her dirty so many times like there would be no way he is just taking my car by himself and my phone made no sense. Then he ditched the car and rode his mysterious bike to the nteck building but at the end of the movie her car is just fine right there in front of her house no explanation no nothing and she is fine with him not mad or upset or questioning him. The whole time the way she kept running into him, her and miles quick dialogue, she felt like a secondary villain to miles. Like it made no sense at all. That 3 way relationship was off putting and upsetting to me.

The Ultra Links are a race of evil aliens called the Makino. They are waging a conquest across the galaxy. Jim McGrath was a humanoid-ish alien from another planet named J'M Meekrah or some such. When the Ultra Links were invading his home planet, he has a moment with Steel, and Steel has a change of heart and becomes a rebel to the Makino and betrays them. He joins with J'M to fight back against the Makino. They eventually find their way to Earth, and he falls in love with and marries Molly. NTek is formed to give Earth defense against the Makino invaders. The Ultra Links and the Elementors were really just a harbinger for Lord Makino's invasion force.
