Ok so when I first heard the rumors back in december about Spidey being in the MCU, I got incredibly excited and I had time off work, and one night wrote down a plan for a general outline for a MCU Spider-Man trilogy.

Well with all this talk about villains and plot and such got me thinking about the idea again, so I decided to post it, see what people think and others can write their own ideas.

First I'll say I know Spider-Man will probably be in CW more than just a post credit scene, but that's what I thought at the time, and I still like the idea.

Civil War

Post Credits scene

Group of people cordoned off from destruction, zoom in on a brown aired kid taking pictures, a siren goes off the kid turns around and smiles. He begins to run away, another kid turns and shouts 'Peter where are you going'

Fade to black. 'WOOOHOOOOOOO'

Spectacular Spider-Man-2017

A 17 year old Peter, has been Spider-man for around a year now and has been just taking on low level thugs/criminals. Only real friend in the film is Harry and is shown to be slightly picked on at school. He meets Norman Osborn in the film, Norman is shown to be shady, and very business orientated.

After taking down some criminals, PP returns home to find May crying not being able to cope with the bills on her own. He decides to sell photos of Spidey to the bugle, who are pro-registration. Here he meets JJJ, Robbie, Betty and Eddie Brock for the first time. Brock tries to get Peter to arrange a meeting with Spiderman but Peter refuses knowing Brock will try and run a smear campaign to please JJJ.

Kingpin whose organization Spidey has been unknowingly breaking apart, decides to hire Shocker to take Spidey down. Shocker sets a trap for Spidey which he falls into and Shocker is beating the hell out of Spidey, when Daredevil shows up and helps him. Together they take him down.

DD tells Spiderman that they are after the same guy. Spidey puts a tracker on Shocker and they let him go, and follow him to where they think Kingpin is. DD and Spidey take on Shocker and a bunch of Kingpins henchmen. Combined they manage to win however the police arrive and attempt to arrest DD and Spidey for being un-registered Superheroes.

They manage to escape, and both agree they will try and take down Kingpin. With DD saying he knows a lawyer who will do his best to get Fisk in jail.
Film ends with May introducing Peter to MJ, who says the classic line.

Post Credit Scene-

A scientist is seen on a telephone, he is looking at something. He is speaking to Norman he says that the test is successful and the results are staggering. Norman congratulates the scientist on recreating the super soldier serum. It has taken over 70 years.
We cut back to the scientist and behind him a rat is running around a container, it then suddenly appears to go wild attacking the cage.

I'd love to see Daredevil and Kingpin in some minor roles for now and rather start with some classic villain like Mysterio (+ possibly Vulture). However Spidey fighting the mob and so... yeah, that's what I really, really wanna see on the screen.

I realise there is a lot, :woot:, but I really thought of what I wanted from the first Spider-man film then it kind of spiralled and I did a 2nd and 3rd.

Astonishing Spider-Man-2020

After IW, the registration act has been abolished. Spider-Man is now a world hero. Peter is dating MJ and is in college. Although he is struggling to cope with MJ, being Spidey and work.

JJJ is still anti-heros and especially resentful of the now famed and 'glorified' Spider-man. Spidey takes on Vulture after he defeats him he returns home, we see the symbiote which has come back with Spidey after IW. The symbiote attaches to him, over the rest of the film we see Peter and Spidey becoming increasingly cocky in their activities, so much that Peter splits up with MJ and begins to date Betty.
JJJ threatens to sack Brock saying he has still not produced anything significant on Spider-man who is now gallivanting around the city in a new costume. Peter in his increased arrogance, claims Spider-man will do an interview with Brock. Brock delighted reports back to JJJ. Spider-man shows up to Brocks flat and does an interview, he then claims he will show up next day at the Bugle and reveal who he is.
Brock writes his article gives it to JJJ and says he has convinced Spidey to reveal his identity, Peter turns up dressed as Spider-man and takes off his mask and claims to have pranked Brock. No one believes that Peter is Spider-Man and JJJ fires Brock, as Brock leaves Peter gives him a wink.

Whilst this is happening , Oscorps super soldier serum has been proved to have terrible side effects and human trials have not been allowed. Norman reports to the Kingpin, who has been secretly co-funding the project, Kingpin urges Norman to find a test subject anyway, they need Spider-man gone. Norman meets with a Roderick Kingsley, we then see Roderick get savagely attacked, Roderick returns to Norman and volunteers for the SSS.

Roderick turns into the Hobgoblin and Norman equips him with all the accessories. He gets mad with power and attacks Norman after Norman tries to get him to kill Kingpin and Spider-Man. Spider-Man saves Norman and fights Hobgoblin who leaves. Later on Hobgoblin attacks a college football game in an attempt to kill Harry. He kills many students including Betty.

Peter goes after Hobgoblin and a fight ensues, Peter fuelled by rage and the symbiote comes close to killing Hobgoblin, but stops himself just in time. He removes the symbiote.

Post Credits Scene-
We see the symbiote slowly crawling its way up a wall. It enters an open window. Cut to inside the room where we see a TV on with Spider-man on the news. The TV switches off. The symbiote climbs up the bed and latches onto the man sitting down.
We see it's Brock he turns and looks at his arm as the symbiote begins to encase him. We cut to a wall in his room filled with Spider-man news stories and also a couple of photos of PP. We hear screaming and can see a shadow of Brock being embroiled in the symbiote. Camera spins and suddenly VENOMs face appears smiling.
'PETER PARKERRRRRR'

Well Kingpin really wouldn't be in it that much three or four scenes, to show he is running things, the main villains would be Kingpins criminal organization guys, and Shocker being the real threat. Daredevil would also really only be in the final half an hour.

Sensational Spider-man-2023

Peter is now a post graduate student working with Dr Octavius. He is happy with life right now, however an unseen terror has begun to attack people around the city. Spidey goes to investigate only to meet Venom. Venom physically dominates Spidey and puts Peter in the hospital. Everyone believes him to have been involved in a hit and run. Whilst Peter is in hopsital Brock begins to date MJ and Venom now acting as Spider-Man has destroyed Spideys reputation specifically attacking the Bugle, causing the Bugle to up their anti-Spider-Man campaign, now backed by the NYC mayor and large portion of the population.

When Peter is out, Brock convinces Harry that Peter is bad news and not a good friend. Peter now injured physically and not in shape to stop Venom has now lost his friends. Brock confronts Peter and admits to being Venom, Peter then sees MJ who is clearly being abused by Brock but to scared to say anything. Peter tries to fight Brock, but gets beaten again.

Peter is in despair and goes back home to Aunt May to protect her, and essentially give up being Spider-man. It is reported that several Superheroes have tried to bring 'Spider-man' down but have been beaten. When Peter returns from the store one day, May is gone, with just a note saying 'you can't hide from me'
Peter goes to MJ to find where Brock is, she says he told her he'd be at a church (same one where Peter fights Hobgoblin. Peter tells MJ everything about being Spider-man and Brock being Venom. He then tells her he still loves her.
He goes to the church and confronts Venom, who has May tied up dangling hundred feet in the air. Venom mocks Peter for being weak and for rejecting the symbiote when it helped him defeat Hobgoblin. They fight and Peter manages to defeat Venom using the church bell much like he did when he took it off himself.
It ends with Peter now dating MJ again and giving up Spider-man for good as he is now protested against by the public.

Post Credit Scene-
We see a large chair facing a TV, we can see the TV is showing a new reports of 'Spider-mans's brutal attacks on members of the public and the channel saying he needs to be brought to justice. A woman is then see from behind walking up to the chair 'What is that darling?'
The camera pans around the chair, we see Kraven the Hunter staring intently at the screen.
'My Last Hunt'

Ok so when I first heard the rumors back in

Civil War

LOL. Civil War's post credit scene??? I'm pretty sure he will get a supporting role in that film if not a main.

Wrote out how I'd approach it, included Sony's spin-off ideas too. It's a long post, so I've tagged anything beyond the first two movies.

We meet Peter in Captain America: Civil War; albeit only briefly. In the after-credits scene we see Peter, on a school trip taking photographs, get bitten by a radioactive spider.

Marvel's Spider-Man is where we first get properly introduced to Peter's life. He has been Spider-Man for just over a year now, operating mainly on the streets, stopping robberies, gangs, etc.. Peter attends Midtown High School, alongside his friends Harry Osborn and Gwen Stacy, and other classmates, such as Flash Thompson, Randy Robertson and Liz Allan. Early on Spidey takes down Flint Marko and Alex O'Hirn - this is where we first meet Spidey. The villains of the movie would be the Enforcers, led by Shocker, and Tombstone, whom is the Kingpin's main competitor in organised crime. Tombstone assembles the Enforcers, armed by a mysterious third party, in order to take out Spider-Man, who is interfering in his plans. Spidey would eventually find out that the Enforcer's technology was supplied by Oscorp, with their activites being exposed to the press. The Enforcers would be defeated, and in an after credits scene Norman Osborn, head of Oscorp, would terminate his deal with Tombstone. We would of course also meet the Bugle crew, included JJJ, and have Spidey's origin (from spider bite to present) briefly shown in the opening credits.

We would then next see Spider-Man in both Avengers: Infinity War movies, where he would help in the fight against Thanos, however before this we would see another movie in the franchise.

The next movie would be Sony's The Thunderbolts, a re-worked Sinister Six, written and directed by Drew Goddard, with input from Kevin Feige. The film would see Norman Osborn liaise himself with the US Government to fund a private strike team alongside General Ross. The film would see Osborn lead Abomination, Crossbones, Madame Masque, Shocker and Bullseye, and see Osborn become the Green Goblin. The team ultimately succeed in their mission, and Osborn leaves them under the leadership of General Ross, his name cleared.

More below:
In 2018, Sony would release another spin-off, this one entitled Venom: Carnage. The film would see Eddie Brock, an investigative journalist for the Daily Bugle, discover a secret science project, an alien symbiote. He eventually bonds with it, becoming Venom, and although at first corrupted by it, he later uses it to fight Carnage, the serial killer Cletus Cassidy, who also bonds with a version of the symbiote.

In 2019, following part two of Avengers: Infinity War, the second Marvel's Spider-Man movie would be released, which would see Spider-Man adjusting to life having become an Avenger, and fought off the destruction of the Universe. The film would see Mary Jane Watson properly introduced, and feature both Vulture and Doctor Octopus as the villains. Octavius would be an Oscorp scientist who took control of the company during Osborn's absence, using his new power to develop his scientific projects, many of which he sells off to criminals. Black Cat would also be introduced, investigating Oscorp. Vulture would act as the introductory villain, ala Hydra in Age of Ultron.

Black Cat would later receive her own, lower budget spin-off, again headed by Sony, which would see her hunt down her father, resulting in her becoming a part of a criminal conspiracy, involving both Tombstone and the Kingpin.

Marvel's Spider-Man 3 would see Spider-Man finally face the Green Goblin, who would kill Gwen, leading to him hunting Osborn down. Hydro-Man would feature as an introductory villain, similarly to Vulture in the previous movie. The film would end with Osborn finally being arrested, Peter choosing to let him live. Meanwhile, Octavius plots to get rid of Spider-Man once and for all, beginning to assemble a team of villains capable of stopping him.

Marvel's Spider-Man 4, which would follow the next year, would see the Sinister Six formed. The team would consist of Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Shocker, HYdro-Man, Sandman and Rhino, the latter two willingly having their powers given to them to stop Spidey. Peter would team up with Black Cat (and possibly Venom) in order to defeat them. These two movies could almost be considered a two-part movie, and wold end with Peter finally hooking up with MJ.

You absolutely can't do justice to Venom without Spidey and the symbiote being bonded together first.

Simple. Have Spidey get the symbiote in Infinity War, then have the other heroes recommend against it. He gets rid of it, it's given to a lab for safe keeping.

The relationship between Peter and the symbiote is very important to the Venom arc, without it, it's just kind of "evil goop is bad, makes Peter emo." It really weakens the arc and character as a whole when reduced to that.

When Peter finds the symbiote, it's the best thing to ever happen to him. It's in love with Peter, it wants to do everything it can to make him better. The suit wants to bond with Peter, it wants to be one with him. But Peter is getting irritated and mad at the suit, he's starting to reject the suit. It just wants to help Peter. He's rejecting the suit, the suit doesn't like it, and eventually Peter goes too far. The symbiote thinks this must have been a mistake, he doesn't realize what he's done. Peter doesn't realize the symbiote has emotions and feelings and loves him. He removes it for good. And this is like breaking up with it.

That's when the symbiote finds Brock, it wants to get back at Peter. It wants to show Peter, "Hey look at me, look at how amazing I can be don't you want this, don't you want us?" So, it attacks Peter and the people he loves. It goes and lashes out at MJ. It wants to make Peter hurt like it hurt. At the end of the day, all the symbiote wants is to be back with Peter.

The second movie is when things start to go wrong. The suit isn't coming off. Then at the end of the movie, he removes it with the big church scene.

The third movie is when Venom is born, and Spidey defeats Venom when Peter asks the symbiote back. It was just using Brock to get to Peter.

They can do the symbiote/venom story in one movie if they focus on it and don't dilute it with other bad buys and side plots

I have a lot of ideas to what i would do if i was in charge of Marvel/DC, i had those way before Marvel started to make movies and all i can say is that they are light years ahead of anything that we have on the silver screen :o
Just so you know:

Captain America - duology
Batman - trilogy
Superman - trilogy
X-Men - trilogy

Spider-Man - 2 trilogies (6/7 movies in total)

I can go into detail if someone is interested...

I'd actually love the Venom arc to be done in a miniseries on Netflix (4 episodes or something). You could really explore it there, and not have to base a whole trilogy of movies on the concept, which could be too much. Would also allow you to go slightly darker with it than the movies would.

First movie (villain)- Norman Osborn/Green Goblin

Sequel (villain)- Kraven the Hunter, Carnage

Threequel (villains)- Venom, Harry Osborn/Green Goblin II (who would turn back good at the end or near the end), Flint Marko/Sandman

They can do the symbiote/venom story in one movie if they focus on it and don't dilute it with other bad buys and side plots

But that risks falling into the trap of Spider-Man 3, so splitting that arc would be good. You set up Brock as a secondary character then you put Peter in the suit for a film, and once the symbiote has been established you can have Venom in a future movie. It just makes sense. Venom is too big a character to be put in a movie with other villains.

Because, again, Venom has a lot of backstory and such, so splitting it up makes more sense than trying to shove it all into one movie that will already contain one or two villains, all of the black suit Spidey story and internal conflicts that ensue, fighting the symbiote off, setting up the Brock character and his rivalry with Parker, etc.

If you didn't include Sandman and green goblin 2 and Gwen and silly dance numbers, they could have fit the symbiote and venom into one movie just fine

Yes make it similar to Sam Raimi's Spider Man 3 for the third movie in this reboot franchise but yes I would definitely split the arc with Peter discovering the symbiote first and wearing for most of the film to take on Harry Osborn who would be the New Goblin getting revenge for his father's death with Brock finding the symbiote later on like at the end or in the post credits scene

Spider-Man: Public Menace: Mysterio as the main villain, Shocker as the intro villain; focuses on the "public menace" storyline.

Spider-Man 2: The Last Hunt : Kraven as the main villain, The Lizard as a secondary villain and The Rhino as an intro villain;
focuses on "Kraven's Last Hunt" first act; Spider-Man defeats The Rhino in broad daylight and Shield arrives to clean up the mess and takes him to Ravencroft.
Peter hooks up with MJ and Gwen moves in with Peter (like USM) Eddie Brock is introduced. Otto Octavius is introduced. Peter starts working at the Daily Bugle.
Kraven hears of a "new species" running amouk in New York City, he announces on TV that he's going to kill Spider-Man. Second act;
Spidey discovers the Black Suit while trying to stop a CatBurgler/BlackCat from stealing it from a museum and he wears it for the rest of the film (Peter develops a darker personality but nothing too radical, at this point the symbiote is only a black version of Spidey's regular suit) Curt Conners also becomes the Lizard and Kraven goes after him while also trying to hunt Spider-Man, this leads us to the third act; Spider-Man, The Lizard and Kraven all have a confrontation in the sewers, they have a fight and Kraven supposedly kills The Lizard, Spider-Man beats Kraven up and leaves him the sewers (for the police) Lizard turns back to Curt Conners (with no wounds). Kraven and Curt are taken to Ravencroft, Curt starts going insane and Kraven shoots himself (screen cuts to black)

Spider-Man 3: Venom
Venom as the main villain and Sinister Six as the secondary villains and Electro as the intro villain; focuses on the "VENOM" storyline.
We open to Spider-Man having a fight with Electro at a power plant, Spider-Man defeats Max and he is taken to a grounded cell in Ravencroft. Peter starts to slowly push MJ away and stops hanging out with Harry Peter he gets into a fight with Flash at the cafeteria and breaks his nose. (The symbiote has evolved into the classic suit at this point) Peter is sent to detention. Otto has an accident and goes on rampage in central park, Shield takes him to Ravencroft (no Spider-Man involved)
Second act;
Eddie tries to frame Spider-Man for stealing from a bank and Spider-Man proves them to be fake and busts him. Jameson fires him, he loses his job, his apartment and his wife, Eddie now hates Spider-Man.
Doc Ock devises a plan to break out of Ravencroft and he assembles Electro, Rhino, Lizard, Shocker and The Sandman they break out of Ravencroft and band together at one last attempt to stop Spider-Man, in the second act; Spider-Man has a fight with the Sinister Six in Times Square SSM-style, he beats them to the brink of death, everything is starting to add up and Peter now realises what he's become, this leads us to the third act;
Eddie enters a church and asks God to accept his suicide, Peter also enters the church as Eddie is saying his prayer, Peter starts ripping off the symbiote (the bell helps Peter to remove it), Eddie goes to investigate the noise and the Symbiote drops and Envelopes him, Eddie turns into Venom.
Eddie captures MJ and webs her to the top of a train in an attempt to lure Spidey. Spidey shows up (in a new suit) and tries to free MJ but Venom attacks him, it now that Spidey realises that his Spider-sense doesn't work with Venom. Spidey manages to get MJ away from the battle.
Spider-Man and Venom fight in an intense battle, and Spidey realises that he can't physically defeat Venom, so he comes up with a plan to separate Eddie from the symbiote, it goes down like SMTAS. Eddie is taken to prison and Spidey reunites with Harry and MJ everything goes well.
Post credits- we see Eddie being taken to prison, he's being put in his cell. we then hear a man laughing, we turn to Cletus Cassidy and he smiles at camera- this sets up the Venom spinoff.

Forgive some of my wording, as I'm using a mobile device, so what do you guys think?

If you didn't include Sandman and green goblin 2 and Gwen and silly dance numbers, they could have fit the symbiote and venom into one movie just fine

Venom doesn't work when he just pops up; he has to appear as like the coming of a storm, so for instance you'll see him in #315, but it's not until #316 that he begins his fight with Spider-Man, seeing Venom play cat and mouse and stalk Peter would've made a better film, 3 could've been like the start of a hurricane with Venom being the eye of the storm in Spider-Man 4.

Venom is NOT worth two movies
Venom is not worth ONE movie if you ask me, but a lot of younger fans will rightfully disagree. they grew up with the symbiotes as Spideys main villains and important part of his universe. naturally they want the movies to reflect that era. in a perfect world the Raimi movies would have stuck with the classic villains, the reboot wouldn't have happend and we slowly 'progressed' to the 80s/90s symbiote stuff by now to give a younger generation of Spidey fans the chance to see their villains adapted faithfully

From now on, all Spidey movies should just have one villain. Maybe a few teases of future villains here and then, but just brief cameos or short scenes at most (ala Alistair Smythe in ASM2).

Biggest flaw with ASM2 was the over saturation of villains and plotlines.

I'm not a writer and far from good at it, but here are some overall ideas of where I could see the Spider-Man franchise head in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Bear in mind that I don't know much about Civil War in the comics and perhaps my ideas are giving Spider-Man more focus or screen time than is possible given the schedules.

Captain America: Civil War
Peter Parker has been Spider-Man for only a couple of months. He's been noticed by the citizens of New York but is still on the level of being a myth. There are no good pictures of him, people just see him swing by and fight street thugs. The Daily Bugle is filled with headlines asking who this masked menace is. People are divided, some have been saved from criminals by him and are positive about him, while others have merely heard and read about him and are negative about his presence. In their minds it feels unsafe to have this masked superpowered person do whatever he wants without anyone knowing who he is. Sure, Iron Man is masked as well, but he's gone public about his identity. People and the society can hold Tony Stark responsible for his actions, whereas the same cannot be said about this Spider-Man. Okay, Spider-Man has been seen by some to prevent street crimes, but Spider-Man might as well act out of selfish reasons rather than for the good of the people. There's been a major rise in criminality and gang wars in New York, what if Spider-Man is a part of that? Due to the events of Age of Ultron, people are becoming more and more skeptical towards these "superheroes" and demand for them all to at least be public about their identities. Spider-Man gets into the spotlight in this debate and in the middle of the fight between Steve and Tony. The film obviously ends with him being able to keep his secret identity for the safety of himself and those he holds dear. Perhaps by proving that he's to be trusted and that there's a good reason for why he's masked. The citizens of New York will remain divided about him though, such a thing won't be wiped out so easily. Especially when people like JJJ are around.

Spider-Man (2017)
This is where we get to know the boy behind the mask more. Peter's in highschool and is struggeling to combine his superhero life with his Peter Parker life. The crime is at an all time high in New York and he has homework to do! Not to mention that Aunt May struggles to afford the bills. Peter starts to earn small money by taking photos of Spider-Man for The Daily Bugle. After all, they needed such pictures and perhaps by making Spider-Man more public (and showing pictures of him protecting citizens and defeating crime) he will gain more trust. As we all know, JJJ will stop that from happening, but he accepts the pictures and Peter has a part time job. Now he has even more to juggle. And is that Gwen girl in his friend group at school really flirting with him? Harry is saying so. Harry is his friend. It feels uncomfortable to Peter when Norman seems to favour him over his own son Harry. Naaah, Gwen can't be interested! She's too attractive to be interested in him!

Suddenly Daredevil meets up with him. According to DD, the kingpin of the criminal empire in New York is very annoyed by this Spider-Man dude preventing his street thugs to do their work. He already had Daredevil fighting his crime, now there's another one as well. Kingpin will definitely step up his game and Daredevil needs Spider-Man to join him in his battle against the crime lord. After all, Daredevil and Spider-Man aren't very unlike each other. Spider-Man agrees and has found a new superhero partner.

Kingpin finds out. How couldn't he, when his thugs are witnessing Spider-Man and Daredevil in joined forces? He doesn't feel too worried though. Funded with the help of sponsors (perhaps motivated by the events of Civil War?), the creation of Scorpion has been made possible. In a split up mission where Spider-Man had to deal with Scorpion by himself, Scorpion managed to defeat him. At least temporarily. It appears that Spider-Man survived.

Luckily for Kingpin, Spider-Man's spotlight in Civil War hasn't gone unnoticed even outside of New York. There are rumours of an expert hunter trying to hunt down Spider-Man. There are words of this hunter who has brawled with rhinos and lions in Africa, being in New York to get a new trophy to hang up on the wall. Kingpin finds him and offers a deal. A huge sum of money if he brings Spider-Man and Daredevil to him for him to personally kill them. Kraven denies the offer though: he wants to take down Spider-Man for himself with only pride as reward. He wouldn't deliver them to someone else to cowardly kill them while they're weak.

While Spider-Man and Daredevil are dealing with criminals, Spider-Man hears from thugs about a "Green Goblin" terrorizing gangs and crime lords. "Are you working for that Green Goblin? Please, don't kill me, I'll join you guys! I'll do whatever you want!". Spider-Man only hears about that Green Goblin though, never sees him.

Kraven manages to hunt Spider-Man down and defeat him while he's alone.

Spider-Man appears different. He takes down criminals more brutally than before. He shows no mercy. He barely talks and never quips. He seems more muscular. Something is wrong. Suddenly, when Daredevil is visiting the graveyard, he sees a tombstone reading "Spider-Man". The ground in front of the tombstone looks shattered. Daredevil digs and finds a broken coffin. He can still smell that someone's been laying there.

A confused Peter Parker is wavering around by himself. How long has he been "dead"? He sees newspapers with headlines about how Spider-Man has proven himself to be dangerous and that every fear about him turned out to be true. He reads about street thugs being found killed and beaten to bloody pulps. There are even news of Spider-Man defeating Scorpion on his own, perhaps to eliminate his criminal rivals.

Aunt May goes through her letters. One is for Peter Parker. Peter reads it where it says "Meet me at *name of a mansion outside town*". Is it from Daredevil? Why doesn't he just meet him up at one of their meeting places? How does he know Peter is Spider-Man?

Spider-Man gets to the mansion. There stands: Spider-Man. The other Spider-Man reveals himself to be Kraven. In a large cage Scorpion is imprisoned. Kraven explains how he managed to be the better Spider-Man, how he managed to do what Spider-Man couldn't: defeat the beast (Scorpion) and instill true fear in Kingpin and his empire. Scorpion knows of Spider-Man's presence, he can feel it. He feels a greater anger for someone else though. Kraven releases Scorpion and lets Spider-Man go after him. Kraven has accomplished his goal. He can die satisfied and proud.

Spider-Man chases after Scorpion to the office of The Daily Bugle. Scorpion kidnaps JJJ and takes off to the lab where Scorpion got his suit. There is also Spencer Smythe. Scorpion wants to kill his creators. Spider-Man defeats Scorpion, with no casualties. Smythe got injured badly though, might have to live the rest of his life on a wheelchair. And JJJ doesn't seem too impressed.

Meanwhile Daredevil has been using the clues and trails left by the thugs to find out about Kingpin's lair. Seems Kingpin was one step ahead though. He's gone. Has he fled? Or is this "Green Goblin" thing real?

My proposal for a Spiderman Trilogy + it's connections to the MCU, tying into a Thunderbolt film at the end of Phase 4.

AoU: Appears in post-credits sequence.

Civil War: Small role, here Spidey serves as the figurehead for the unregistered supers Stark is trying to apprehend. He's built up through news reports and such, then has a fight with Iron Man who tries to arrest him. But Spidey escapes.

Spectacular Spiderman (2017): His first solo film, pitching him against Kraven the Hunter. The government is still loving the idea of Super Hero Registration, so they've sent Kraven to take Spiderman out, as he's like the central figure of unregistered vigilantism. Peter has been Spiderman for perhaps a year now. He's still at high school and the film would develop some of his class mates. His friendship with Harry Osborn seems like a must, perhaps a small hint of a relationship with Betty Brant, and most importantly his bully - Flash Thompson would be developed. Sony apparently has the rights to use some major MCU characters so I expect they'll take advantage of that. I'd go with Ant-man and Blackwidow, who apparently both end up in prison at the end of Ant-man. The climax to this film would be busting these guys out of prison.

Infinity War: Unlike most of the new Avengers Spidey is probably popular enough that he will appear in both Infinity Wars. He doesn't really offer much in the way of major plot points, but will have a big role.

Spectacular Spiderman 2 (2019): Kicking off Phase 4 (whose main plot line will be Thunderbolts). The villain will be Green Goblin, who will of course be set up as a major villain for the rest of the MCU. As such Peter's friendship with Harry would need to be developed, as would Harry's relationship with his father - maybe something to do with GG finding out Peter's identity? Anyway, Flash Thompson would have gotten a security role at Oscorp, but at some point in the film loses his legs. Felicia Hardy would appear as a love interest - I think the love interests work best when they too are superheroes. She would have a pre-established rivalry with Spiderman. The film could open with an altercation between the two and she would be pivotal in the climax, involving a break in of Oscorp.

Spectacular Spiderman 3 (2022): Still in Phase 3. The villain here would be Doctor Octopus, but the central foe would be the symbiote suit. Peter is initially unable to defeat Oc, but he finds the symbiote and it gives him the edge he needs to put up a fight. However it begins to consume him, and make him more ruthless. Miles Morales (not powered up as of yet) plays a major role. In the climax, Peter is about to kill Oc, but it is eventually Miles' optimism and idealism that brings Peter back from the brink, and he tears off the symbiote suit. In the post credits sequence, the symbiote vengefully makes it's way to Peter's nemesis - Osborn. Osborn gives the symbiote to Flash, who becomes Venom.

Thunderbolts (2024): This would cap off Phase 4. Avengers 4 would see the Avengers losing against the newest threat, leaving the villains and anti-heroes to save the day: Red Hulk, Green Goblin, Venom, Loki, Moonstone, Mandarin, Namor and Songbird. Aside from the post credits, this would be Venom's onscreen début, though Flash would have appeared a fair amount in Spidey 1 and 2.

The future would have a lot of potential. The events of Thunderbolts could lead to Dark Reign for Avengers 5. Venom and Black Cat could both get their own franchises.
