Holy crap cinema is having an affect on military advancements! Like it should, because an Iron Man suit on the battlefield would be bad ass x's 1000

McRaven talked with defense industry representatives about his ideas for what's being called the Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit, or TALOS, a system of highly advanced body armor that can do everything from warding off explosions to sealing up wounds and allowing soldiers to see in the dar

"I'm very committed to this, I'd like that last operator that we lost to be the last operator we lose in this fight or the fight of the future, and I think we can get there," McRaven said.

No one cares about Talos? :( Well fine! Talos doesn't care about you Hypers!

He's too busy being the future of warfare anyway. He doesn't need your approval

The first thing I thought when i saw the title was " Skyrim " :p
But yeah this is pretty cool. I cant imagine a day when soldiers actually wear stuff like this. But it seems to be possible

When I saw the name TALOS I immediately thought of this guy:

The TALOS is a neat concept but nowhere near implementation. They're closer to developing the Human Universal Load Carrier, though. Which means the US military will soon have an Army and a HULC. :awesome:

haha same

Meh, call me once that thing gets flight capabilities. Then I might get interested.

If fiction has taught us anything, it's that whenever we come up with a remotely cool weapon, someone always finds a way to turn it against us. We can't have nothin' no more.
