You know something, just had an epiphany; as much as i griped about Meg's design in the beginning, it's pretty awesome for a TF that still in his 'pro-form'. The other TF's proto-forms look terrible and once we see Megatron in the sequel (more that likely after scanning an earth alt mode) he should look even awesomer.

This is a perfect setup now that i think about it! Megs after having failed this first time, everyone knows what he looks like, specialy military and S7 so now he has to disguise himself in order to get his mission going. In the first one he's kinda stuck in that Dam and gets let loose by you know who, so he jumps right into the battle, no time off in between.
