honestly her acting cant be that bad o_O
guys please tell me these critics are out of their minds
she is the actress equivelant of Shamalan ... i dont believe it:doh:

The Daily Mail may have fired the first warning shot over the new actress. Baz Bamigboye gave the movie three out of five stars and pleaded: "Come back Megan Fox, all is forgiven." The critic does note the movie is "technically sublime" even if the human supermodel "can't act."

The summer blockbuster "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" brings back the battle between good and evil robots -- this time with a pulsating score, bigger explosions, and 3D action that's coming right at you.

The action flick spends a good deal of time blowing up Chicago, and includes a scene of actual base jumpers leaping off a high-rise. Many of the actors have returned from the last "Transformers" movie: Shia LaBeouf, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson.
But following a feud with director Michael Bay, the star Megan Fox, who played LaBeouf's girlfriend, was very publicly replaced with Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. To put it mildly, the critics have not fallen in love.

The Daily Mail may have fired the first warning shot over the new actress. Baz Bamigboye gave the movie three out of five stars and pleaded: "Come back Megan Fox, all is forgiven." The critic does note the movie is "technically sublime" even if the human supermodel "can't act."
Entertainment Weekly's Lisa Schwarzbaum grades the movie a respectable B, but that may be despite the presence of the actress. The review notes, "In the interchangeable role of sex doll, Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley assumes the spot vacated by Megan Fox."

Wesley Morris of the Boston Globe assigns the sci-fi thriller just two out of four stars, and describes the English-born actress as "a replacement for Megan Fox, who is Judi Dench by comparison."
Both women get ripped in Bill Gibron's take for Filmcritic. He rated the movie a four out of five stars and called the third in the series a "crowd pleaser." Still, the review calls out Huntington-Whiteley as "no better or worse than the curt Kewpie Doll she replaced."

Get the picture? Good looking does not mean good acting. Well, you can't have everything.

This is stupid. I thought she was much, much better than Megan Fox.

Though Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's performance did hit one or two rough spots early in the film, for the most part I thought she did an extremely good job(especially when you consider that this was her very first acting gig). She also has an extremely warm and likable onscreen presence and she's a much, much, much better actress than Megan "Plastic Surgery Disaster" Fox.

Was she better or worse than angel in Xmen First class,
both new actresses, but no one is talking about her.

I thought she did ok but the stupid crititcs make it out to seem that she is integral to the movies plot.

She didn't bother me as much as I thought she would. I would have prefered Fox though. Just for personal taste.

She did fine. The movie has greater problems then her.

for what it's worth, her direction from michael bay probably consisted of:

"pout. no. more. MORE. arch your back. now stick your ass out. OKAY. PERFECT."

i thought she was fine. wasn't watching that movie for stellar acting performances.

No offense to Rosie, but wasn't she hired to just be eye-candy? Unless she failed at being sexy, why is she getting hate?

actually he was hired to be the love interest, kinda like mary jane was.
as for why the hat: why else.

She was no better or worse than Megan Fox, which is bad for Megan Fox because she had been acting for a while before being cast in TF1, and this is Rosie's first acting gig....

I'm sorry, but when I see Michael Bay movies, especially the Transformers ones, he doesn't hire actresses to be the "Mary Janes" of his films, they're more just sexual objects of the main guy character, just like 80s-90s action films.

And Fox still sucks in her more "serious" roles.

She had a few rough moments, but let's not kid ourselves here. She was cast as eye candy and she executed that duty perfectly. Her character had almost no personality because they didn't GIVE her a personality (which is typical of love interests in action movies, or in the case of Transformers films, nearly every other human character except Sam).

Of course she was cast for eye candy but you're fooling yourself if you think she was any good at acting here, it was horrid.

You also continue to kid yourself if you thought she was better than Megan. Megan's no Oscar winner but she had more chemistry with Shia.

guys im seeing BAYFORMERS 3 tomorrow ,
so i figured you all would find this article interesting ...
the sad fact is that YAHOO is a crappy place to use as articles and when they hit on something that catches the eyes of the public (sports etc..) its usually an article they stole and added a few extra lines to .

so here goes :

Rosie looks sexy as sin , so ill give her a shot , sure she is in the sex symbol iindustry, but look how many people came out of that (claudia schiffer ,Denise Vasi , Estella Warren , nikki tyler ) sure some of them cant act worth a damn but they are sexy as hell.

personally megan is still sexy , but i take into consideration she is a publicity hound and did the "real" arguement about BAY to stir up interest (its been known to happen) and ill have my opinion on Rosie , unless she turns out to be as usefull as BIEBER in a date with a girl :o ,

angel , well i wish her the best, like i wished Calisto in X-MEN 3:the final garbage or poor whats her name , the actress who played katara in the ONLY AIRBENDER we are ever getting .

as far as yahoo : ill use this picture and i beleive it says it all
because it doesnt suprise me CRITICS for movies are the most [censored] of all humanity , (they wouldnt know talent if it bit them in the BUTT)

She wasn't that bad. She was better than January Jones in X-Men First Class.

This is crazy! Even in the first scene I thought to myself "WOW. She's way better than Megan Fox." I also think she was more emotional in this movie than Fox TF1+TF2 combined. Also, people are forgetting that Megan Fox had acting experience in prior movies...this is her first movie ever.

For her first movie, she was great, IMO.

Yeah, massive overreaction here. She was completely fine. Only had maybe one or two moments in which she faltered. Everything else she delivered as well as you could ask.

Oh, and I gotta give it to Bay. I wasn't really feeling Rosie (looks-wise) as a substitute for Fox. By her third scene, I was ready to jump at the screen. She looked absolutely delicious.

she was terrible. nice eye candy but there was 0 chemistry between her and Shia. she was employed to pout and strut. she did that well. but her she had nothing else to offer.
SPOILER.

The final scene where her and Shia do the "gone with the wind" meet up was embarrasing due to the fact that there was nothing of any substance and heart in their relationship. Now most of this is Bays fault, but if she had some charisma on screen and some sort of spark of chemistry with Shia the emotional impact that was intended might've had some merit.

She is being rightfully ripped by critics as this is a film. and they are professional reviewers of film.
Regardless of whether she isnt there to act, just to look good, she is acting and thus is judged accordingly.

She wasn't bad and she wasn't particularly good, but I thought she did an above-average job, overall.
