The very fact that Bay even considered this woman who clearly has NO acting experience says a couple of things to me.

1. Shell be eye candy at best.

2. He wastes his time replacing eye candy with eye candy and not enough time developing the characters that need to be developed.

3. He cares more about the look of the film then the actual essence of it.

4. His movies always and forever will be know exactly like what he just hired. A mindless film that has no relevence or meaning to what should of actually been portrayed in the first place.

One more reason I wont be going to see this film opening weeked.....Thanks Bay for the final nail in the coffin.

I'm with you, I really hope they actually explained what happened to her. I hope to GOD that this new chick isn't actually going to be Mikaela herself. I know that she is supposed to be a new love interest for Sam, but Bay has lied before. I'm curious as to why he would need a new love interest in the first place, considering how he freaking died and came back and finally told her that he loved her. Again, I hope they explain it and explain it GOOD!

On the note of the Victoria's Secret video....I believe that it was intentional. Quick question though, was this a commercial that was released on TV or on the internet alone? Do you guys realize just how many tickets were just sold from that ad alone? From teenagers to young adults. From a marketing perspective, I think that it was a smart move to get the "buzz" going early for this film.

From a marketing perspective, I think that it was a smart move to get the "buzz" going early for this film.

Which is exactly why I am starting to suspect this to be misinformation/marketing ploy.

I don't think Megan really quit/fired. I think we will see her back on the set and we will get stories of how they made up and allowed her to come back, which means more press.

i don't really care, haven't really thought about it too much.

I'd say just like any antagonist, I'd like to see the protagonist move on to bigger and better things when it comes to romance.
as for fox herself, I think she should have taken up her issues with the production behind closed doors or more professionally, that being said if she was canned I'd say I hope she learns her lesson, and I wish everyone the best.

Bay haters vs Bay lovers...black or white....lover of bad films vs lover of good. statements shouldn't categorize opinions.

I defend her replacement because she's being unfaily judged, it's that simple.
for me to say she's a good actress is no different than anyone saying she's a bad one. I say we judge her when we see her in action.

my opinion on the matter as a whole, yes I would like to see sam move on past his first love.

Being alright with someone who was a huge part of these films and was built upon to continue to be a huge part of the third suddenly tossed out means we will be getting more plot holes and script conveniences to make way for the new girl.

If quality of acting had something to do with her part, then better actors would have been brought in. What it came down to was looks...and that is how she won the part. You can wait for the movie to come out next year, but I can tell you right now that she won't deliver and her part will be watered down.

as for why I will defend this girl for the time being against bashing is because unlike megan fox, she hasn't done anything to "deserve" bashing.

what makes you think that's not exactly what just happened. sure she's not proven but acting is just like singing (imo) some ppl need training others just do it. that's essentially what he did with megan fox. He told the casting director to find the hottest 18 year old she could find. and once she came, bay asked her "do you look good in a belly shirt" and "can you run".

straight from the horses mouth on the DVDs.

so while its' true this could have been a opportunity for bay to cast someone good like natalie portman or rachael mcadams or in that line, you can't really deny megan's place in the franchise, and it's really not that much of a stretch to hire RHW

i'm not the one in denial here. it does make a difference normal, i don't feel that it does here.

a one episdoe stint on two half men where her role was the hot granddaughter, and a flop lindsey lohan movie hardly count as experience.

but lets say it counts, none of it showed in the TF movie. even if she graduated from julliard, it didn't show in the movies her role in the franchise wouldn't change.

I'm one of the few that liked both movies, and i don't take them seriously. MF fit pretty well in both, but i'm not going to try to convince myself that she was an amazing actress. she was still horrible. but like i said, TF isn't meant to the godfather trilogy, or TDK.

i feel that RHW will probably be terrible as well. but i'm willing to give her a shot. she is gorgeous, and it's a shame that models are seen as dumb and never really given a legit shot at acting.

kathy ireland, molly simms, tyra banks, rebecca romaijn, all had a day one. even megan fox.
