Another top self job! I know this is my own view, but I think she looks great. So much so it still confuses me with supposed casting of DJ as Superman. I know we have yet to see her act, but if he is getting this close to how she suppose to look in my view. Then I am so curious as to why he might have chosen DJ as Superman. Again nice job on the photo

Her long face reminds me of that guy who played Herman Munster. With all due respect to Gale I'm really beside myself that people are okay with WW having a face like this

The fact that she looks so much like Wonder Woman bodes well for her. This strikes me as a situation similar to Brandon Routh being cast as Superman. Maybe not the best actor in the world, but someone who looked and sounded a lot like the character.

She doesn't have the exact same features as Wonder Woman, but there's a definite visual presence to her. I doubt anyone would question whether she looks enough like Wonder Woman to play the character in the context of the movie. I'm curious. What does Wonder Woman "sound like"?

She is very pretty, but I don't see WW in her face at all. She has a kinda weird face, too long and horsy like.

She also lacks the presence. I don't know about her voice or acting ability but I have a hunch that she will suck, I just do.

And about her voice for all we know she could be working with voice people on her own to get an greek like accent or what ever it is ww should have. Wasnt there an interview with her from not to long ago saying she was training still and was working with acting coaches or something.

Generalizing often sounds so bad. Cate Blanchet, to give 1 example, is an Aussie and NEVER sounded high-pitched nor weak. On the contrary.

Share a little of your good humour with male actors from Australia also with the girls. They're great.

Gale is a good choice because she is the personal embodyment of Wonder Woman, because she has the needed elegance and because she was auditioned.

I hardly see her as the embodiment of WW. Gale does have an elegance to her yes, no argument there. Who cares if she was auditioned? Auditions can be full of terrible choices for the role, and Gale fits into that for me.

So, you sat in on the audition? Saw the film? I don't understand people hating on actors before the film is even made. It is one thing to not like her look but another to say she is terrible overall, IMO.

To me with superhero's or any other well known character it starts at the look. If they don't have the look for the certain role then stop right there and say "NEXT!"
I could care less if she can act or not she does not look like WW so it stops there. She is definitely a pretty girl but ANYONE who sees her notices the long face right off the bat. With WW your jaw should drop and you should not find flaws but with Gale you find a flaw right away and instead of your jaw dropping you think hers did. With all the hot WW worthy looking girls in Hollywood I feel cheated! This girl was considered not just by her look but they want more actors from down under to qualify to make the film there. I thought all the girls from WW's planet were suppose to be flawless?

I said she's a terrible choice for WW. An inexperienced model trying to play WW is not a good thing. Go ahead and use the "it's an ensemble film" argument, but thats also a ******** argument. The weakest link always stands out in those films(Halle Berry as Storm, Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman, Katie Holmes in BB, for the more recent ones)
And I'm not "hating on" her as an actor, I'm "hating on" her for the role of WW. The character calls for an actress more experienced and trained than a model who just has to look good. And nothing's wrong with Gales body, but she isn't built enough for WW.

Again, how do we know she will do an awful job as WW? Actors have to start somewhere, she may be amazing or she could suck. Why does the role require so much experience? Maybe she rocked the audition. Why don't we just give her the benefit of the doubt (since we cant change anything) and see what happens, thats all I'm saying.

As I have said... All we have to judge her on is her looks, I think she looks perfect as WW, so for that I think she works. If her acting sucks, so be it. But as for now, I'm happy based on looks and I am not judging her acting in the JLA film since it can't be judged.
