but he said he wouldnt until post

well they've finished principle photography and are just doing a few pick ups now. it's possible, depending on when the trailer is released, that they could lay down a few voice tracks in time. just being optimistic

i think this is gonna happen anyway

I want Clive Owen to voice Megatron.

He's a little bit too monotone for me. I'd rather have someone like Keifer Sutherland who has a gruff voice to voice Megatron if they don't pick Welker.

This would have been the perfect ALT MODE and WARRIOR DESIGN for MEGATRON. Unfortunately...we will probably be getting the General Grevious-type of design. Oh well.

I eagerly await a remake in a few years that will be true to the mythos of Transformers: Generation 1.

he musta been where i've been cause i had no idea megatron was going to look like this.

What are they thinkin, deceptecons are not supposed to be evil looking things if memory serves right the only difference between the two sides was the eyes. Autobots blue, deceptecons red.

argh im tryin to look forward to this movie but its just not happening!

Although rumour has it that he now gets an Earth mode, so here's hoping.

Let's hope that Meg's "earth mode" looks much better and closely resembles his 'original G1' look.

Because this looks like SH*IT! :cmad:

*channeling Bay* You MUST be a Transformers fan...you like teh bloxors!RofLZ.

But wait the script we all love to berate says nothing of an earth mode does it? Does that mean we're trashing a script that WASN'T chisled in stones and then chrome dipped and sealed in a void where no human could ever touch it?

INCONCEIVABLE!

And to a point I agree with Bay's reply to that reporter, though it was a bit snide (and unnecessarily so)... it's been reiterated over and over and over that these are re-imaginings of the robot designs. How many times does that question have to be addressed before it just gets annoying?

To this remark I'd like to quote from an influencial music group that did not accept whatever the man had to dish out;

Chuck D said:

Our freedom of speech is freedom or death
We got to fight the powers that be
Lemme hear you say

Although you're missing the part where changes were almost certainly made because of said reaction to the script. Not that I disliked it personally. I just think it lacked TF dialogue and non-childhood raping versions of Megatron and Starscream. ;)

She didn't even mention the designs as far as I recall. He just blurted out some crap because she said she was an old school fan.

because clearly nobody had any idea where it was going with the question right?

You wanna find out what I wager on the megatron design issue? Then please read the spoiler tags [after clicking on them of course, and i don't mean to read the clickable tag itself either]:

When in the draft script
the Autobots arrive
they immediatelly, or instantly if You will
scan an entity
to take it's
shape
. So this could be considered a custom of all the
Transformers
in general [in this movie].
Now, looking at the Megatron design detail it loosely, yet pretty poignantly resembles
the pointy tips of icebergs, and glaciers, where he apparently went, and got stuck, whilst looking for the Allspark
. It is in my opinion plausable, that
when he did first come to Earth
, whether or not that will [but probably won't] be shown in the film
he scanned the surroundings, and like a chameleon blends in, he created this "pile of junk" as his disguise, only temporairly though . . . only thing was, that he got stuck, because the film-Transformers, are sensitive to extreme temperatures
.

If you are still reading, I'd just like to add that
once free of the ice, and awakened, will the filmmakers bother with giving him another look, will his alien jet become something of that size, that is terrestrial in origin? I don't know the answer to that, but sure would make an awesome addition to the hype of this piece
. Thank You for reading. :yay:
