I have seen that figure as well as the red/blue and black Spidey figures,which I all would love to get. But like you mentioned,its not cheap. I keep my eye out on ebay for the cheapest price. It's definitely a different design from the final film. The one thing I want that's pretty hard to find it seems is the "Death of Eddie Brock" statue.

Just to update. I just purchased that Venom Medicom figure. I saw it for only $90.00 and that was by far the cheapest I've seen it,so....it's mine!! I'll post a pic as soon as I get it.

You got an outstanding deal there. Finding any Spidey related Medicom fig for under $100 is difficult.

The comic book version of the alien costume Spidey is a very tough find as well.

I don't plan on selling them at all(at least I don't think I will),so I see no point in keep them contained in their boxes. Do you guys take your collectibles out? When I collect something I'll usually keep it in the box if it's an older toy or figure,but with newer ones I take them out. Since,you know,older collectibles/figures are harder to find.

I became a loose collector when I accumulated so many figures, statutes, etc that I had no more space for display. If you plan to keep your collectibles for a lifetime, I don't see a reason to keep them boxed/moc. If space is the issue for you, I highly recommend a cabinet like Detolf for display.

I usually take my stuff out of the original packaging, but very carefully. I always want to be able to put whatever it is back in its box to make it look like it has never been opened t:

I'm planning on posting items later this year. I've got some stuff scattered here and there, but this is the year I really plan on collecting more products since I'll be working full time soon. Plus, I've got a whole layout of a display room in mind, and a possible move from my current location might happen. Right now, though, I'll happily draw inspiration from your collection!

I remember going to Wal-Mart in 02 and having my dad buy me the Spider-Man and Green Goblin from then first series. Man I had SOOOOOOO much fun with those. Two of Tue best Spider-Man toys ever made I think.

Very cool! If I ever see these for sale, I've gotta try and get em. I like picking up weird promo items and such. I just found these Mexican premiums from SM2 at a con.

And some more premiums, these I just got from eBay. I think these originally came packaged inside bags of chips lol.

It's a shame the Raimi trilogy was done by the time Hot Toys really found their stride. I would love to see them redo every villain and Spidey himself today.

Edit: Yes. I know they've done them. But they are three times as good now. Their level of precision was great, now it's awe inspiring.

I wish they could have done the villains, yeah. We only got New Goblin. A Hot Toys Doc Ock would be so snazzy. Dafoe Green Goblin would be great as well. I've got the SM3 Spidey, if they made any good villains I would probably buy them so I could have them duke it out. t:
