I was the same with Venture Brothers. A co-worker of mine asked me if I liked Jonny Quest. I told him the original series. He said "Think of the Venture Brothers as a twisted Jonny Quest".

I might just hafta start giving that show a chance. Thought I was right about the clones though. Anyone seen the ep Im talking about where theres like some kinda trippy dream sequence and a guy dressed up exactly like Hunter Thompson in it. The ep was hilarious but it was so long ago. LOL it was in jail too there was this black dude in the cell that made everyone watch Adult Swim everynite. Gotta say though I ****ing hate Squidbillies and my room mate is obsessed with it and it annoys the hell outta me

The thing with The Venuture Bros is that there are no stand alone episodes and everything is self referential. You have to start from the beginning to get it. David Bowie's the leader of the villains, there's a gay gorilla, one bad guy has like 5 origin stories thus far.

Phantom Limb...they actually did an episode where you actually get his correct origin

I saw that one, I don't believe it. Just like the other ones it was somebody else telling the story. I don't believe anything Quiz Boy says, pretty much everything we know about him was proven to be a lie after that episode.

well, not really because you see Brock deliver him to Pete White knocked out in a duffle bag...so Brock and Hunter had something to do with it....between all the versions you see in 'Victor Echo November' and that episode...it makes the most sense (in that universe anyway)
