The Third Petrelli Brother

I kinda like that theory Galact-Gal.

In "Five Years Gone" from Season 1, when Sylar and Peter duel it out fire vs. ice, Sylar says something like, "it's brother versus brother". Did he say this still disguised as Nathan or did he actually look like Sylar?

I think he said that as Sylar.

He didn't. Because Peter awnsers by saying:"My brother can't walk trough walls, who are you?". I really hope Mrs. Petrelli is just trying to manipulate Sylar and that she's not really his mother. She probably knows he killed his "real" mother while he was just trying to please her.

He said it as Nathan, then soon after shifted back into Sylar. I just watched it a couple of days ago.

I know i said it was Sylar but seeing this twist leads me to think that bigger things will be revealed . I see it as manipulation and Sylar will pretend to believe it.

Kind of a dumb point, but they all look enough alike to be brothers haha.

They do look kinda alike.

Also I dont know if I like this Idea though, it depends on how they use it.
we will just have to see

and if they are brothers, are they half brothers? And if so, whose Sylar's dad?

Hiro, he traveled back in time to 'tap that ass'.
That's so hot. It would be even hotter if Hiro found out that he was actually the product of the affair between Angela and Kaito, as well. Inbred superheroes are the best kind!

I always thought that they would use Sylar as a Petrelli brother for a twist. Haha.

But, did Angela really meant it like that, or was is something like "Who's your daddy? uh? Who's your daddy?! "

What if Sylar is able to adjust his brain in order to use a power in the same way that Peter adjust his DNA to use a power? Only Sylar has to see how it works first. If they really are brothers, their powers could be linked like that.

This whole "we are all connected" business is getting ridiculous. At this point when we get new characters on the show we beging processing them by thinking who are their parents/brothers/sisters of the regular cast. "Connected" indeed, because some idiots couldn't keep their pants on.

yeah, but it kind of makes sense that some of the most powerful characters are related. If you read the graphic novels you see that a lot of the superpowered people in the world have, well....klind of lame powers. I mean, being able to breathe underwater is neat, but as we saw in the Butterfly Effect, Syalr didn't have to flinch before killing both of those agents (the female agent's power was lung adaptivity)

True. I suppose that eventually we're shown the source, the very first person whom all of these people share a bloodline with. That's the easy explanation over why some people gain these remarkable powers - they share particular ancestors.

It might not be Adam. Adam's not the first person with a power. He manifested in the 1600s AD, and in the graphic novels is a character named Abu Aswan who is visited in his dreams by Sanjog Iyer and shown that one of his ancestors, an Egyptian pharaoh named Khufu, shared his power of levitation. Khufu oversaw the construction of the Great Pyramid of Giza, which was built around 2560 BC. That was well before Adam's time.

I hated when she told Sylar that. I was like, you have to be ****ing with me. I hope she's just trying to play him, becuase this "coincidence" **** is getting old.

Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father...

I still think she's just manipulating him. She strikes me as the type of character who uses knowledge to manipulate. She probably knew what happened to his mother and knew that was a weakness in him and exploited it.

As long as she keeps feeding Sylar powers he's all for it.

That's another thing...I know she already has a plan to make sure Super Sylar doesn't get too out of her control. :)
