Boll's never adapted a game property that anyone would consider absolutely sacred. House of the Dead? Alone in the Dark? Bloodrayne? Nintendo learned their lesson after Super Mario Bros. (which I actually have a bit of a soft spot for.) I doubt they'd let anyone touch one of their properties ever again. No one short of a Spielberg or Cameron, anyway.

There's no possible way he will get the rights to make it. I can understand how he got the rights to his other video-game movies, because most of them were either third-party or B-list titles. But this is Nintendo we're talking about, and I'm sure they're fully aware of his reputation by now.
