Mystery/Thriller MGM+ presents 'From'

ok I had started a thread about this show, as this thread never showed up when I was searching for it, anyway just been binging the 1st 2 seasons and it's my favorite new 'mystery box' show , hopefully I can catch up before the S3 final
I see you found it. Congrats. I bet it wasn't easy. :-)

nope for some reason, this thread only showed up as 'similar threads' after you had commented.

Yeah this show gets really crazy sometimes. The season premiere was also brutal. That ending really got to me.

That premiere was just mean. Great TV though. S3 has really cranked up how hostile the 'town' is.

Not surprised tbh, the series seems to slowly be gaining popularity online, think I must have heard 3 or 4 seperate podcasts mention it.

I passed the half way of the 3rd season and i'm more convinced they have no idea where they're going. It's really seems like they making things up as they go.
If this is the way it's gonna go 'till the end of the season - this is gonna be the last season of the show i'm gonna see.

It definitely has a Lost vibe to it where they seem to wing it from season to season and don't know what to do or where to go with the story.

I agree but it doesn't bother me -- so far. Only time will tell.

Finished season 3. Got hooked in season 1 just trying to figure out what was going on. I got to binge season 1 and 2, but had to watch season 3 weekly. I am glad the show didn't string us along too much. We now have some answers to things. I really like the show, the thing that kept me watching was just trying to figure out what was going on. Well also there are some good characters. There is still plenty to figure out, but I like that somethings were answered.

Interesting. I was like that in season 2, but felt season 3 showcased the opposite. It finally showed some connective tissue and idea of what's going on and how it may move forward. Even if I didn't like the answers I got in season 3 finale, at least we got some.

This show is no Lost, but it sure does have a lot of connections with it. Specially with some revelations on the S3 finale.
Good vs bad, a "Man-in-a-color", reincarnations, time travel.

It's a fun, fun show. And I like how the writers continue to acknowledge through their characters just how crazy everything is (specially with Jade).

It seems like Ethan might
be wrong about changing things when visiting past events. Boyd was given the rope by Julie. Even if it is/was a set event, she would still have to be able to change things. Because without her the rope doesn't go down to Boyd. Maybe this is her reasoning for trying to help her father in the last episode, when she is obviously a Julie from another time.

Finished the season. IMO it was the weakest season so far. I think i might had enough. I'm 100% sure the writers and creator of the show has no end game. He had a a premise and characters but nothing else. I also think. when they killing characters, it has no point on the long run. I also don't understand why they keep bringing in new characters. Don't they have enough?
Just a disappointment.

Very much enjoyed it, Lost meets Wayward Pines basically, the Matt Dillon season. I also agree that was Julie from a different time and Eion Bailey will be back in Season 4.
