Homecoming Michael Giacchino is the Composer for Spider-Man: Homecoming

How about Christophe Beck? He did such an awesome job with Ant-Man and gave it both a kind of cat burglar prowling feeling at the start and also an epic feel later on. It kind of is like how you might even imagine a Spider-Man theme. It's also one of the catchiest Marvel themes, if not the most.

The only thing is that I would want him to come back for Ant-Man and the Wasp too, but since they're not in the same year, maybe he could do both.

he wouldnt be bad. It could end up being someone marvel has used a few times. Or likely maybe watts has a composer he wants to work with. As that does seem the norm these days. Directors usually reuse composers over and over again across projects.

Should Danny Elfman return as composer? I'd love to see him make a new version of Spidey's theme.

Danny Elfman would be amazing if he camed back, i would love if he composed a version of the 60s theme (or the 90s one.)

I don't think they will remake any of the cartoon themes, they'll probably come up with something new.

Even then, i would love to see Elfman back, if he did came back there would be nothing better that to get goosebumps again while hearing the MCU Spider-Man theme-score.

i like elfman but i see no need to go back to him for the new film. It likely going to end up some new fresh blood composer, maybe someone watts has worked with before or a go to sony/marvel studios guy.

Michael Giacchino would still be my ideal pick.
Looking at his credits..

Not really really would I consider Spidey material if ask me.
Fair enough, you are entitled to your opinion, but everytime i hear his score in Incredibles or Up i just hear fun, upbeat, amazing and really energetic, to me it sounds like the perfect type of score for this new Spidey.

It's the opposite for me. I just can't take a dude who scores mostly PG-rated films seriously for a PG-13 live action Spidey movie that will include serious and dramatic moments. But yeah, opinions are opinions.

Maybe for the animated Spidey flick coming out in 2018.

Alan Silvestri or bust. If they can get Elfman back I'm all in.

Dramatic? Listen to his scores for LOST.

Incredibles a is a great vibe for Spidey! I'd like something that is reminiscent of the 60's theme or Spectacular theme.

He's scored his share of PG-13 movies e.g. Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness, Super 8, Mission Impossible 3 and 4,Dawn Of The Apes, Jurassic World, Jupiter Ascending. As well as the remake Let Me In, which is rated R. Giacchino is more than capable of scoring a Spider-Man movie.

There's plenty of composers (Elfman, Williams, Silvestri, Zimmer, the late Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner) who've scored there share of PG rated films as well as PG-13 and R rated films. Really don't understand the issue here.

i would totally be done with micahel G for music, i really have no set guys to work on the film. All i want is a fun upbeat, tunes and some good sounds. Let alone any regular new songs ie regular dy to day artists pop/rock guys having songs on soundtrack.
