How many times do I have to explain this to you? The case in 93 wasn't legit at all.
1) A loving or sane parent doesn't just accept 20 milion dollars over the well being of their child. Regardless of whether or not they were estranged is not an excuse. Any sane or loving parent would've pursued this till the very end, regardless of how much money was thrown at them.
They took the 20 million as a settlement from a civil lawsuit. It has no bearing on prison time or a criminal trial. The overwhelming majority of loving parents would have taken the civil settlement and also chose to testify at a criminal trial to send him to prison. One thing's for sure. 20 million gets you a lot of good therapy.
2) When his home was searched nothing showed that he molested the child.
Actually they did find a coffe table art book which included pictures of nude children. They weren't pornographic though. This does count as evidence against Michael, but it becomes week, considering he had over 10,000 books on his property, with a range of every topic in the world.
3) From his own admission and Cocharans admission this case was something that could go on for seven years. Michael didn't want it to be a long drawn out trial like the OJ Simpson case was.
It was expected to take six months.
4) He didn't pay any money this time because he finally realized that he needed to fight for his name.
He had no option to pay money. It was a criminal trial. Criminal trials can't be settled the way civil lawsuits can. That's called bribery, and it's a felony to bribe somebody out of sending you to prison. There is no way to make a legally binding settlement.
All of the accusations have been an attempt to grab his money.
I'm a huge fan of MJ, but that is not objective. It is not proven either way. The only evidence on his side, is that from 93 to 2003 there isn't even one allegation, while he had access to thousands of children. If he was a pedophile he should have been accused at least 10 times, assuming that only one out of a hundred victims came forward. That's the profile of a pedophile. They keep doing it, and they can't resist it. Their only hope of not doing it, is to stay away from kids. This is the ONLY evidence on his side, but it is strong.
I also like to point out how the kid described Michael's genitals. Who's to say he wasn't spying on Michael? You know how curious kids are and in order to play a joke or something, they'll open a door when someone is in the shower or is simply getting dressed. As I said, the 93 and the 05 case were proven to be false and as hard as they were trying to bring him down they would've found something if he truly did it.
The last accuser was proven to be lying. The first kid's story was never proven false. And the story he gave actually fit perfect with the profile of the kind of child molestor a molestor would be, if they suffered from Arrested Development, which Michael suffers from. Those kind are going through a completely different thought process than your typical child molestor. NOrmally child molestors are using sex as their way of inflicting violence on a kid. The arrested development kind are only capable of forming emotional connections with children, because they are socially stunted at the level of a child. Their social behavior is that of a child. They have childish conversations, fantasties, and feelings.
