Michael Keaton's Batman or Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man?

I think the movies were actually pretty close, but think Keaton did the better job. Bale is probably my favorite BM of all. A little over the top at times though.

From a performance perspective, McGuire is more of a Bale. Decent in the role, better in their non-costume personas but nothing stands out.

Keaton times about a hundred. Pretty great in nearly every way and a lot closer to the, or at least an, ideal version of the character. Maguire had some great moments but also a lot that to say the least that was not.

Maguire’s Spidey is a far more fleshed out realized character. The villains are the driving force in the Burton films.

Based on their movies in their prime I would probably go with Keaton. But based on their multiverse return Maguire's appearance was much better.

I like Tobey's Spider-Man movies more than Keaton's Batman movies. But Keaton is a better Batman, than Tobey was a Spider-Man.

I never understood the affection for Keaton's Batman. Its one of the most uninteresting versions of Batman I have ever seen. I got more character material to sink my teeth into from Val Kilmer's one outing in the role than I did from Keaton's two combined.

Tough one but I give the edge to a Maguire here. I think Keaton is a better actor overall and a better person, but Tobey just felt like the perfect Spidey to me in those first two movies. He probably would have been great in the third one too if the script wasn’t s***. And he was really good in NWH.

I still love Keaton’s Batman but Tobey takes this one, just slightly.

Tobey's Spider-man is very accurate to the source material in the comics.

Keaton's Batman is most assuredly not.

Tobey wins hands down.

I think Maguire Spider-Man. I don't think he was the best Spider-Man, but I think folks are far more nostalgic for him than Keaton, though I love Keaton's Batman as well.
