It's frustrating that a great director like Michael Mann can't get the ball rolling on Heat 2 yet there's so many uninspired blockbusters coming out every year that you forget the week after seeing them. I'm not saying give Michael Mann a blank check but it feels like there's a lot of obstacles in his way to get this done.

Yeah has to be for Neil, I wonder what happened to Adam Driver cause I recall he was at one point attached to the film to play Neil, but imo Leo looks more like a younger version of McCauley than Driver would.

I think he’s busy shooting Paper Tigers. He also is starring in Chris Rock’s directorial debut for A24 and a few other projects.
