I wish they would stop using him as the idiot, only for comic relief. can we get some character development on the poor guy. He's had some really great moments in the New series, but today he was written as the idiot again for Fast Forward. Poor guy, can't catch a break.

Michaelangelo is the coolest Turtle of them all! Leo is too serious for me. Ralph and Donny have their funny moments, but Michaelangelo is the one who gives the team the weight and comic relief it needs.

I hope his pizza-loving and cowabungas come back even though alot of you "anti-80's cartoon" people don't like it.

I am sick of seeing him as an idiot too. I miss the comic book/orginal movie version of Mikey. The new cartoon makes him look like more of an idiot then the 80's cartoon ever did.

I haven't read enough of the comics to know what Mikey is like...but I do love his portrayal in the first three movies.

I hate how he is in the new toon, because they turned him into an idiot who's always goofing off and getting himself into trouble. He's ALWAYS the "damsel-in-distress", he's always the one who has to learn some sort of stupid lesson, half the eps that center on him sucked: The Turtle Titan, the Notes of the Underground arc, Grudge Match (that ep only got good in the end when he totally kicks ass, but sadly...like Touch and Go...he doesn't stick to his learned lesson and quickly reverts back to the way he was before.)

Mikey started off good in the new toon, but he really started getting on my nerves (even though I still love him) at the end of season 2 (I hated the Big Brawl).

I hope this upcoming movie writes Mikey as he was in the comics and the first three movies. That's the Mikey I love.

Kevin did say they were going to try and push Mikey past the brainless oaf in the film. Granted he'll still be the goofiest of the turtles, but they wanted to develop his character a little more with this film. Kevin said one of Mikey's greatest conflicts is the fact that he is the best fighter of the group, but his less than serious nature keeps him from ever reaching his full potential and he will start to struggle with that more and more.
