I just saw the movie

heh. Luckily for me, i got into an early screening. Now the movie ain't gunna win any awards, ill tell you that much. Its a fun film, however. All about family and whatnot. THe action scenes were so awesome. Especially with raph and leo going at it. My problem is that don and mikey don't play too big of a role as the other turtles do. and the monsters? Youd think theyd do more than they did. Overall, it was a fun flick. I went in with low expectations, but am very pleased with the result. i love that movie. I love my turtles. Cowabunga? Yes. Indeed.

as they usually are... i dont remember much of their roles beofre being uber important in comparison to leo and raph.

I saw the movie over the weekend as well.
the animation and action is incredible.
this will sound a little selfish but the sooner this baby is on dvd the better so I can watch it repeatedly at home.

Yeah. THey set him up to seem evil, but in all honesty...nothing he does comes off as "bad". He tries to gain redemption for his sins at the end by sending the monsters back and he loses him immortality...dead. He also gets in mikeys mouth and nose. and he "fights" in the very beginning...but he doesnt fight any turtle of stone people. He just chills...

the stone baddies are bad throughout. They even turn on your homeboy winters...or should i say falls. get it? cuz he dies?

I just screened it tonight too... loved it! I'm a big fan of the original 2 movies, a huge fan, so I came into it with that behind me, and still loved it... It doesn't beat Secret of the Ooze or the first movie, but it is up at that level. And I'm certainly looking forward to seeing where else Munroe can take this whole series (aka Shredder!!!).

Exactly, couldn't have been said better... you can't beat shredder, but this is still a fun flick for "shell heads"

That kinnnnda sucks that Winters isn't even a worthy adversary in that he doesn't go hand-to-hand with any of the turtles I was kinda hoping he'd be the main bad guy. However the Stone Generals look awesome and I'm glad at least they are bad throughout the film.

ALSO did you mean that someone actually 'falls to his death' in the film? Cuz if so that's awesome...I love falling deaths for villains!

Hey this may sound like a strange question, but how is the music soundtrack for the movie? Is it more score than songs or more songs than score or is it a balance of the 2? I ask this because I hate it when movies have sooo many songs in it that they over shadow the composer's score.

If every single song that was on the official soundtrack in the movie? Because if thats the case then Im gonna be dissapointed, thats like 12 songs. I really hope it's a case of more score than songs.

It was a score throughout most of it, and an awesome one at that. Reminded me a lot of Batman Begins or... what the heck was it, something else recently, 300 maybe? Either way, the score is great... There's no Ninja Rap this time

I went to the Sneak Preview screening too and like you, I find it to be a fun and entertaining film with the usual good 'ol family values. Loved the action scenes as well and the intro battle scene, I thought that was great. The tension between Raph and Leo... like that a lot especially when it led to the fight between them and what happened after the fight.

Didn't really expect much from Don and Mikey so I wasn't disappointed that the focus was mostly on Raph and Leo. Mikey's still the clown/comic relief and he succeeded in making the audience laugh.

Like you, I didn't go with high expectations so I came out of the movie theater one satisfied customer.
