Does your Zune even work with your Mac at all? I was under the impression that MS had provided strictly a Windows only software solution.

They both include modem and ethernet but the Mac has a faster processor, better video card, built-in wireless and bluetooth, and a bigger monitor. The price difference seems pretty negligible to me.

Just to add, i agree that electric cars dont really have the range or the speed. but the g-wiz, which you can buy in London, has a charge cost of 1.3 pence (current exchange rate, about 5 us cents) per mile. on a full charge, it does the equivalent economy of 600 mpg of petrol.

what holds back things like electric cars isnt that the tech isnt there or affordable. you create the demand, and the need for the parts automatically brings costs down. its what they are trying to do in London. If you owned a G wiz (and dont get me wrong, its bloody ugly too), you are exempt from the London congestion charge. road tax is at oits lowest. Its been worked out that, sticking to the limits in terms of speed and distance that a gwiz has, they can save a driver up to 8000 a year. and oit costs 7. so it pays for its self.

watch what happens to the tech now that formula 1 is introducing rules on re-capturing energy from braking ect. the same tech will appear in road cars inside 5 years, and then the savings really start.

So far they've come up with a way to "free" the wi-fi, allow the Zune to act as a hard drive, play podcasts, play DVDs and Mac compatibility. It's pretty amazing that a consumer can manipulate a product like that.

That's probably the single dumbest thing you've ever posted in your entire Hype career, NOFX. And that's really saying something. The fact remains that the wi-fi "feature" on the Zune is horribly crippled, intentionally, by Microsoft. To the point that it's almost not even a feature. Especially since it's DAMN hard to find someone else who even HAS a Zune that you can share music with to begin with, since they haven't sold very many of them at all. I certainly hope you don't pay full price for a Zune. They can be found in discount bins at most retailers (for a reason). Enjoy.
