Missing Scientists Conspiracy

there was a thread on the DC Comics boards about a conspiracy involving a number of scientists disappearing or dying under mysterious circumstances, most of whom were involved in the study of microbiology, DNA, free energy, or gene sequencing. the idea is that these scientists were on the verge of a major discovery and were silenced. now, normally I don't give any credence to conspiracy theories but some of these deaths are pretty suspicious.
