Mission: Impossible 3

Ethan Hunt : You have to understand this. Here we are today, where I talk out against drugs and psychiatric abuses of electric shocking people, okay, against their will, of drugging children with them not knowing the effects of these drugs. Do you know what Aderol is? Do you know Ritalin? Do you know now that Ritalin is a street drug? Do you understand that?

Luther Stickell: The difference is..

Hunt: No, no, Luther.

Luther:This wasn't against her will, though.

Hunt: Luther, I'm asking you a question.

Luther: I understand there's abuse of all of these things.

Hunt: No, you see. Here's the problem. You don't know the history of psychiatry. I do.

:D:up:

"You're glib, Luther....glib."

Awesome. Love that missile explosion throwing Cruise into the car, hah.

That was a cool shot...look forward to the full trailer.

More traditional theme, straightforward action, nice little bit of dialogue from Hoffman, and most importantly. . .NO LONG HAIR ON ETHAN HUNT!! YAY!!! The trailer alone makes up for M:I-2!

The line from Hoffman alone made up for MII. :o

M:I 2 wasn't that bad...it was a popcorn action flick.

It was terrible. If it didn't have Cruise in it nobody would have cared about it at all. Go read the reviews on IMDB.com. Probably over a hundred one star ratings there with good explainations.

Yeah... I don't see the total hatred for it. I thought it had some cool action scenes. Not the kind of movie I'd want to see more than once...but good for a first run through. I'd usually watch it on TV if nothing else is on. lol

Though...with all this hatred for this movie...I still wonder how it made so much money? I'm not saying, just because the movie made a lot...it means it must be good... I'm just saying..if there's so much hate for it...WHY did it make so much?

Hey I even went to see it in theaters. I loved Mission Impossible and MII just didn't have what I loved about MI. Woo turned MI into one big action scene.

The reason it made money is because of one thing. Cruise. It's a sad but no matter movie he is in it will make some dough.

I heard Tom and Woo had massive arguements over MI2. Didn't Woo at one point want to quit?

Well I can thank John Woo for one thing. If it wasn't for MII's shooting schedule Dougray Scott would have been Wolverine instead of Jackman.

M:I 2 had me spending most of the summer kicking up a gun from the ground... :o

Oh come on...who knows...Scott might have been good....lol? We'll never know...

Though..I do feel bad for Scott now. Look at his career. Dude could have been a Alist star now. Poor fella. He's probably cursing Woo every night

THe cinematography is a wee off. It looked like a TV movie. It could be me.

Well... almost the whole crew is from Alias, and Lost.... soo...

Teaser looks great... But I just cant watch Cruise anymore :(

Just makes me wish for more spy films (MGS or SPLINTER CELL, I am looking in your direction)

I just can't get over how awesome that missile's impact throws Cruise. Makes me want a new Michael Bay movie. :(

Well I thought a Splinter Cell movie was in development?
