More "winter" films needed

It's because the movies are released in the Summer. Batman Returns takes place in the winter during Christmas, and while I'm sure that's not the reason, it is the second lowest grossing Batman movie and showed extremely disappointing numbers for the suits.

If they're going to make a movie set in the winter, then they should release them in the winter. But studios don't want to release Superhero movies in the winter, but rather the summer. Thus 90% of superhero movies will take place around that climate and period.

spidey 1 took place in the fall.. and was a summer realease :o

I agree! I think we definitely need more movie's that take place during the winter...

Though we need more Winter movies, I think we also need more Autumn in superhero movies.
Batman Forever is set during the Autumm and Batman 89 looks reallt Cold, mainly due to the fact that it was mostly filmed in England during the Winter.

Spidey 1 took place over a pretty extended period of time, including the tail end of Pete's senior year (which would be spring). There is that scene at Thanksgiving (which would be fall), but there's no snow coming down in that scene or anywhere else in the movie.

did i say it was snowing? nope...

the movie took place over 6months.. tail end would be early summer considering most schools get out mid june these days. graduation would be in June.. and who knows when the spiderbite was.. could easily had been a week before graduation. either way the main story took place in the fall..
