National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is hands down my favorite there but there is alot fo good choices.

I know it's probably not considered that great and there is some parts I don't like but
Fred Claus has some funny moments and Paul Giamatti plays a great Santa.

I prefer watching cartoons and old tv episodes like the honeymooners christmas episode, santa claus is coming to town, frosty, the grinch, twas the night before christmas, little drummer boy, etc. But these movies get me in the mood too!

Yeah, I think Christmas Vacation is the best out of them all too.

Wow, no love for Lethal Weapon? Shane Black mixes suicidal psychotic cops, crabby old timers, and Christmas. It's a companion piece with Die Hard and The Long Kiss Goodnight to me.

Lethal Weapon along with Batman Returns are a couple of the ones I forgot to put on my list in my first post.

I always thought it looked dumb, but then I saw it and thought it was surprisingly funny.

I'm not a huge holiday movie fan, but these are my favorites:

Badder Santa, Jingle All The Way, Muppet Christmas Carol, Home Alone 1&2 (I watched these COUNTLESS times as a kid), While You Were Sleeping, A Christmas Story, and The Santa Claus.

I've never liked Will Ferrell outside of SNL, the exceptions are Land of the Lost and Anchorman, and in both it's the rest of the cast that makes me enjoy the movie.

Also, the lack of Gremlins on many of these lists is criminal.
