Morgan La Fay: Villain in D.C.'s Justice League and in 1970s Marvel Dr. Strange movie??? Can anyone explain this?

In short, Le Fey is a historical character. Neither Marvel or DC is responsible for her creation. It's the same principle that allows there to be a Hercules that fought along side Captain America in Civil War and a Hercules that interacts with Wonder Woman.

Not really a historical character as much as a character from a myth, like Hercules and Beowulf.
It's possible they existed, but not probable.
