Yea I was gonna ask about that. When I downloaded it I noticed it was marked at 89 rather than 99. Didn't know if that was some deal for Gold members or what. I had some money in my MS wallet so I was able to get that premium for like 62 bux out of pocket

We actually don't know if the DLC characters will get alternate skins. MK9's DLC didn't have alternates, neither did Injustice's DLC characters, with the exception of Zod. That was always disappointing, as it didn't make the characters feel like full fledged characters, part of the main game. They really were just extras that came with the bare minimum.

I hope they'll change that in MKX, and actually give each DLC character 1 alternate. And I so want Wolf as an alternate for the Predator.

Not a fan of the Steroid predators from AVP. Their looks are decent but I hate how massive they were. I'd like to see City Hunter as a skin, Elder from the end of of P2 and Maybe one of the Beserker Predators.

Sticking with their different fighting styles for characters I could see them having an unmasked Predator style that's mostly a brawler and close quarters fighter since he ditches all his range weapons in Predator when he fights Dutch. I'd still love a Wolf variant with his bull whip.

Not a fan of the AvP Predators either, but I think Wolf from AvP:R is right up there with Jungle and City Hunter.

I don't find the Berserker all that different from the regular Jungle Hunter. Jungle Hunter could possibly rely more on stealth, and be more of a zoner. He loved to spam his plasma caster in the first Movie. City Hunter could be more of a trapper with his net and be more close combat focused with his spear and gets his homing disc. And Wolf, oh Wolf, he'd have tons of possibilities. You have his dual caster, or handheld plasmacaster, shurikens, laser mines, power gloves, bull whip. He could use his bullwhip to pull people in, then shoot them upclose with one of his plasmacasters or send them flying or knock them plain into the ground with the power glove. You could use laser mines to keep the opponent either from running away, or coming near you for a couple of seconds. There's just so much you could do.

Why provide two of the same? Jungle and City are from the Hunter Clan. I prefer if the designers and creators dipped into a different clan for each possible variation.

I'd stay away from the Super Predator Clan. I hated their designs and purpose in the Predator universe.

Jungle and City are vastly different. You had Jungle Hunter who only used his Plasmacaster and Wristblade, and was a more careful and methodical hunter. City was basically a beast, who jumped into the action and just tore the place up, with a wider arsenal that included his homing disc, dart and net gun and his spear. The young bloods from AvP really didn't add anything new, except for another version of the disc in the form of shurikens, a dagger and giant forearm blades that really didn't get to see any action.

The Young Bloods are bigger, stronger and sport heavier armor. They're the perfect version for those certain fans asking for a "brawling" type. City and Jungle are not that, and neither is Wolf.

They are Predators. Even the small ones already break through walls. And Wolf was wrestling the Predalien. There's nothing the young bloods did, that either one of them couldn't do.

And asking for a "brawling" type doesn't mean that we need a Predator playing or looking like Bane.

There wasn't anything physically different with the young bloods from AVP. It was just poor costuming work from ADI. They did a terrible job on those Predators in that movie. Pudgy preds.

It sadly wasn't poor costuming work. It was intentional. I think Anderson even says that he wanted them to look more super hero-ish. That included the softer facial features, to make them less terrifying looking. I think he even referred to them as Hero Predators.
