I think from a story perspective, JC and Sonya may not be around at the same time Cassie is an adult. From Cassie and Kano's intro, it may indicate Kano may have killed off Sonya or Cage... or both.

No. They're around while she's an adult. They're all in Outworld together in the comic.

Nice. The more I see of Cassie, the more I like her. I've a feeling she'll be my favorite.

I somewhat share the other's thoughts about Sonya and Cage. I thought Cassie would make up for the absence of her parents. I like Cage, though, so I'm fine with that.

While Scorpion will always be my favorite.. cage was my #2 in MK9. Loved that he became "the" guy.

For me in MK, I rotated between Ermac, Sonya, Johnny and Kenshi. Ermac was by far my best character, but I was no slouch with those other guys. I just hope Im still good with them bc one thing I kind of hate about the series is that characters change so much from game to game. I can pick up a SF and be good with Ryu or Cammy regardless of what title it is for example bc they are consistent. MK though? Theres too much variation

I'm not sure who my clear cut favorite between MK games' is.

In MK9's case, my OP's were: Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, Smoke (#1), and Kenshi.

One thing is consistent though, Kung Lao and Cyrax, and Kabal were always top tier.

I'm assuming we'll have to wait. They'll prob release one character at a time over a period of time, the way they did the season pass last go round

If the rumors are true, 2 of the five characters in the pass are guest characters. Granting that is legit, Jason makes one of them, so both the Predator and Spawn wouldn't be in, it'd be one or the other. I'm kind of banking on neither, though. My guess is Freddy. They probably still have the rights to Freddy, and it'd make sense to make both of them since Freddy Vs Jason sets a precedent for them to "fight" one another. It's logical in a weird way.

The whole Spawn and Predator rumors were never very solid to be honest. One came from an interview with McFarlene that was basically him saying Spawn in MK would be cool, and the other was from...tumblr. And it even had the weird thing about them also having Carl Weather's character from the original movie randomly. None of that really ever seemed like legitimate things.

The Kombat Pack will include access to four playable characters still in development, including horror icon from the Friday the 13th films, Jason Voorhees, as well as two Klassic Mortal Kombat Kombatants and another special guest character. In the Americas, the Kombat Pack is included in the Mortal Kombat X Kollector’s Edition by Coarse, Limited Edition and Premium Edition, and will be available for purchase separately for $29.99.**

that would be awesome, I would of enjoyed Freddy in MK9 more if he looked and sounded like Englund instead of reboot Freddy, but Englund has made it pretty clear he's done with Freddy now
