Now that Jason is announced, fans are ticked off there is no Freddy for Freddy vs. Jason fights. Now that there is Predator, fans are ticked there is no alien xenomorph. Such is life.

The game is supposed to take place over a 25 year time period. Since that video is the first chapter, and shows both him and Sub Zero defending Shinnok, I'd venture the events of the comic, including his mentoring Takeda, come after that.

That pretty clearly seems to be older Sonya and Johnny Cage in the video, and Sub-Zero looks like the same one talking to Cassie Cage and her group in the other trailer.

So tempted to get the kombat pass now, but it's just so damn expensive. Plus lately I've been trying to avoid buying full price season passes, dlc and pre-ordering. Maybe I'll just get Predator and Jason if they're sold separately.

I wonder if they'll release dlc characters after kombat pass, Injustice had MM and Zatanna.

Pretty much this. Fighting game sequels get cuts nearly all the time. It sucks when they happen, but once the roster gets to close 30+, they're virtually unavoidable.

It's unfortunate, I get it, but at least one of them deserve to be on this roster of badassery. MKX could be the franchise's best and several prominent names are gonna miss out.

I just hope they made the Predator with solid gameplay and not some generic arsenal of moves that were put together for marketing purposes.

Oh, I have faith that he'll get an awesome move set. They got all the Movies to look at for inspiration. And he's easily got one of the biggest arsenals of all characters, without having to make nonsense up, like Scorpion having the ability to call demons now.

Netherrealm did it for both Mortal Kombat 9 and Injustice.

I sure hope so. He should be able to cloak,use his red dot blaster,throw a spear and disc blade,hammer punches,kick to the gut,headbut,able to throw his opponents,use his shoulder mounted gun,***** slap,clubbering arm to the back and do a one hand choke.

Only it IS complete. Did you watch the Kombat Kast at all? Because this DLC isn't even finished. It's not locked on the disc. They're finished with the game but still working on the DLC.

Saying the game isn't complete isn't true. These characters are side characters... It's not like you're missing out chapters of the game. I paid 80 bucks for the digital version plus Kombat Pass. So.. I paid 20 for it. Either wait or buy a bundle. But the game is complete.
