my fave of the new comers (without playing the game yet) are erron, kotal, takeda and cassie (yes im warming up to cassie now lol) i'd still take reiko or fujin or havik over any of these guys, but it is what it is

28 hit goro brutality, I see where they were going with brutalities in this game, if you link them after a long combo like in this video, it seems more like the old school brutatlities

Am I the only one wondering while playing story mode. Why wasnt Liu Kang, Kung Lao & Kitana restored when Raiden restored Jax & others ? Does that get explained at any point ?

[BLACKOUT]Quan Chi had to be alive to do so as he was the only one who knew how to work the magic. The scene with Bo Rai Cho right after Hanzo kills Quan Chi confirms this.[/BLACKOUT]

I know that much. But when Raiden restored Jax, Scorpion & Sub - Zero. Why didnt it work at that point on the others. The only thing I can think of is. Its a distance thing maybe ?

Man I'm really not feeling it with Scorpion.. Which sucks because he was always my dude.. But I play like absolute trash as him. Need to set up some sparing to help myself get better with a few others. I don't know what it is with me anymore but I get so intimidated by combos anymore, lol. I wish I could have one button Brutalities.

I liked the story. But if they continue with the next game. With the new characters. Without coming up with some crazy way to restore Liu, Kung & Kitana, Raiden. I will be annoyed with that

Thats too bad. I was dissappointed in Sub Zero in the last game but so far he feels much improved

one thing i dont like about the DS4 is using the L2 and R2 buttons. They arent suited for a fighter as the DS3 was. Blocking feels weird and pressing them together for the X-ray moves seems slower bc of the way the buttons are

Would this be a game to test out the new button mapping feature for? I've tried the game out at work a couple times at work this week and got my ass kicked. Looked and felt great though. I can understand the triggers maybe bothering people in a fighter.

That's odd man. Scorpion seems to be a solid character. He's giving me problems, even in the hands of less skilled users. I haven't had much time with the guy. Iv only got one or two 18%ers with the guy. Tonight and tomorrow I plan on learning the basics with him and a handful of others

I thought Sub was pretty good last go round. I'm diggin him here as well. I'm preferring his Cryomancer style the best tho. He has some easy pop ups in that style.

I wanted to like sub-zero more in MK9 then I did, I just found him kind of boring in that game, I was hoping he'd be funner in MKX, but it worries me that he only has 2 universal specials between variations

Seeing Johnny Cage smash his daughter face into the ground repeatedly to death is actually the first time ever in my history of playing MK where I've felt genuinely uncomfortable at what I was watching.

I think it's pretty damn funny. But I don't use either Cage, so it's not like I see it that often.
