From Kotako, when Shane Kim was asked about Alan Wake

He said “not necessarily” when asked if the mysterious and seldom-seen “Alan Wake” is a 2008 game, but called the game “very different, very ambitious.”

Does this means that Alan Wake will released only in 2009?
Will this be a new Duke Nukem Forever?

It will not win Game of the Year.

MGS4 has been anticipated for years, and will deliver on its hype.

MGS4 will be Game of the Year.

I'm sure everyone thought Halo 3 would be a shoe in for Game of the Year this time last year, there's probably a surprise game or two out there in development that will give MGS a real run for it's money. I doubt Brawl will be a real contender, it's a fun game yes, but in the end it's just a fighting/party game, not game of the year. My top 5 are;
