what are the most expensive action figures on the market today?
I agree that they're over-priced for what they are but I wouldn't say they're the most expensive.Spider-Man 3 figures.

went to hastings and found hml2 for 14.99Also, if you're talking about the current retail market, it's tough to say what the "most expensive figure" is. I'd argue that HML at KB are the most expensive figures per amount of plastic and quality, being I think 11.99 or 12.99. Star Wars figures are always a rip off.
Agreed on the SM3 figures. They're not even that good.I agree the Spider-Man 3 figures are too much. I saw them at a couple of places going for about $9.99-$13.99. Wal-Mart has them for $7.88.
Saint553 is right about the Scarlet Witch figure, I found two last month, one at Wal-Mart for $7.88 and the other at K-Mart for $8.99. She's pretty easy to find now. She wasn't worth $90 bucks, but definately worth a purchase nonetheless. I picked up both.
Another series I can't understand why it's so much is the 'Real Action Heroes' (RAH) figures. Those go for about $200 a piece. I don't know what makes them so special, maybe it's the material or some special mold they use, but I can't see paying that much for a 10-12'' figure. I wanted a couple of them, but after seeing that price I decided to pass.
Just be VERY careful with the bodies, I used to have the Comic Wolverine(Which is another excellent figure, BTW), and I broke the shoulder joint on him
. I had the Comic Venom, which is alittle on the small and bland side, but it was still a cool figure.
Ive also heard(And seen) the Medicom Cyclops is one of the best aswell. Also, there were those unlucky few who bought the Scarlet Witch thinking she was cancelled and paid $90 for her, then a few weeks later she was making a decent peg warmer.
