Most Underachieving Film???

1-The Matrix sequels are underrated. They are not even half as bad as they make out to be.

2-Just because the last films were bad doesn't mean you should restart the whole franchise.

Look at "Superman Returns", "Highlander 3" and "Halloween H20".

But it makes vague story, which hurts movie.

this is about films that don't meet or surpass your expectations?

Well I don't really go into movie expecting much... except those star wars prequels, I thought would be better than they were. The best parts were the Visual fx and lightsaber duels, and that's it, nothing else.

Brothers Grimm was also another total disappointment for me :( :down

Absolutely. You could literally SEE potential being wasted throughout every scene.

Try Twelve Monkey's it's pretty good:up:

Read my previous post.

The only movie, which I liked was 12 Monkeys.

King kong. What a loooooooooooooooooooooooong movie about a big angry monkey. I could understand Lotr being long because it has a lot of interesting story to tell, but this is about a big monkey! The fx are nice though.

i agree, but revenge of the sith most definately did not have it
How did it not?
It had the Emperor rising ,and Anakin was faced with a choice, just like Luke was in the Original Trilogy.
Join The Father and the Dark Side, or Leave the Father and stay with the Light.

hmmmmmmmm for me Tom Hanks,he has great variety,an actor ive never seen give a bad performance is Toney Leung but ive not seen a lot of his movies

tony leung is great! Vincent D'Onofrio is the best for me, he has great range and is good at them all.

Hey, if it was a bit too long, it doesn't mean that it was disappointment.

KK was great movie to me.

Script wasn't bad, cast was pretty good, vissual effects and CGI were AMAZING and it was fantastic movie.

men in black and thirteenth floor are prime examples (13th floor is awesome, great neo noir sci-fi-ish thriller)

He also did the acid trip known as The Cell.
It's only good when they are in his head, the rest can go blow up in the middle of the desert.

yer, i loved it, really underrated, perfect for people into philosophy and noir films like me. And the cast is soooooooo spot on, craig bierko, WOW.

such a brooding film, and the happy ending is a bittersweet happy ending, cause it's impossible to know if your in a simulation, very clever, perfect little film, reminiscent of P K dick in some ways.

Ocean's Twelve, the first one was great, but that one was just stupid.

casshern was amazing, kinda weird, but really good. And i agree with your other choices, but the wachowskys are not as good as everyone thinks they are. Matrix was great, and the sequels were just shabby, fight scenes with lots of CGI stops being a fight scene, and becomes an animation. And the millions of agent smiths Vs Neo, is a terrible fight scene, they could have done lots of it with wires to make it look good, but no, they were lazy and didn't really care about the film, sad, but true.

The Wachowskys are only names, but the direction sucked, IMO.

SR is vague sequel to STM, but with some elements from SII.

Vague stuff is very difficult I think.
