I'm thinking version 3 with the satellite dish instead of the cannon and Head 5. I like the idea for Ravage. He's a spare tire. At least he's not Blackout's ass.

fanmade or not...those designs are pretty facking awesome! i'm sure if Spieberg and Bay went with that style the fans wouldn't be complaining as much. i'm still happy with a lot of the designs we got but those Soundwave designs are a good happy medium...

....What're you? Working with Bay or something? Those designs kick ass. Ravager looks great. But Soundwave looks even better. He actually looks like a Transformer (with a little Gundam thrown in him) but those are great.

It's funny...I just noticed that Soundwave's normal face actually looks quite a bit like the designs for the faces being used now...

LOL!!Yeah, I'm working with Bay....I get 20 cents everytime I can incorporate the phrase "too boxy" into my daily conversations. t: I agree these designs look great...Soundwave just looks too "man made" to me....like he could have been created on Earth. This Soundwave just doesn't look like what a Transformer looks like now.

As a fan who is mad at most of the changes, I would be accepting of a mobile Soundwave truck. It makes sense. We always see those trucks in CIA movies, etc. gathering information. It's better than a boombox under a chair.

It looks good to me!... Not a big fan of ravage being a tire; but I can live with it. This soundwave design looks much better then anything official I've seen come out of the Bay Factory for sure... Just a shame that now that it's been posted by a fan on the net: It will never appear on screen (For copyright reasons)

Those are nice - I wish the movie TFs looked more like that, since the design for Soundwave seems to carry over the Transformer "look" that's remained fairly consistant over the years.

Having Ravage be the spare tire works out nice - I still like the concept behind the original Soundwave, but this seems a nice balance with movie designs. Even if Soundwave doesn't appear to have any of his other minions.

If this had been real - I like body 3 the best, along with a head that was mostly version 5 with some of version 8 mixed in to make it more angular. I think that would've fit into the movie well - and still have been distinctly Soundwave.

I was talking to some friends a couple days ago about Soundwave, and the Transformers movie.

One of my friend's, an older one by a few years, was shocked that people even knew who the transformers were, and then saying that Soundwave was a cassette tape player!

Does anybody even know what a tape is, yet alone something that plays the tapes!

Almost tells how old school, yet how awesome, Transformers really is.

The designs are very awesome, and I like the idea of the spare tire transformer.

lol, yep Transformers is really showing the age of the fans on these boards. Its great to see that these movies are being made with all aspects that movie goers demand. I have a feeling that is going to be a huge movie and the expectations can be met.

Good designs and Ravage as the spare tire is a clever idea. A few questions, how do you plan on incorporating the other minions into this version of Soundwave? How tall would a Balkan MK6-based Soundwave be in robot mode?
