Movie trailers that to this day STILL give you goosebumps...

Agreed with Spider-Man 2. It's just a fantastically put together trailer... the buildup gets more and more intense and its just about impossible not to get excited watching it, no matter how many times you've seen either it or the movie itself.

I have to admit that the trailer for Children of Men gives me goosebumps everytime I see it, especially in the ending. Man, that movie looks fantastic.

Remember when they re-released Star Wars for The Special Editions?

There's this little TV at first and then an X Wing bursts through to the big screen and the sound kicks in.

Everytime I heard Vader say, "There'll be no one to stop us this time." I got goosebumps.

Great friggin' trailer.

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Definitely Spider-man 2 !

Other goosebumpy trailers I check out frequently : Birth, Alexander, Moulin Rouge, The Day After Tomorrow, Troy teaser, War of the Worlds.

The WTC Spidey 1 teaser, the Spidey 2 full trailer, the new Spidey 3 teaser were great. A trailer that´s still special to me is the one for Batman 89, I think because everybody was worried that Burton was making that movie and afraid it´d be campy again and it really calmed people down. I love the elegance of the BB trailers, including pretty much not showing Bats in the first teaser.

Out of that, I have many other favorites... Hitchkiker´s Guide to Galaxy´s trailer was awesome. The recent trailer for The Prestige was pretty damn great. The LOTR trailers were awesome.

One I`ll always mention, funny enough, is the teaser for Naked Gun 33 and 1/3... I laughed my ass off at the theater...It´s a comedic masterpiece...

The Superman Returns teaser is the first that comes to mind. Many, many others, but this is a great one.

Oh hell yeah. I loved that about the SE videos in '97. They came right before the movies. Really wish they had included V and VI on the '04 DVDs, but oh well.

Sin City.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (that was heart attack inspiring trailer)
Kill Bill Vol. 1 (Uma. With A Sword!)

same with me.......

and tons more

Spider-Man 1 WTC teaser
Nightmare on Elm Street 3 (scares the **** out of me to this day)
The original Scooby-Doo teaser (I was expecting Batman to show up sooooo much)

basically any teaser that leaves a lot to the imagination rocks. :D

the trailer for the original superman movie gave me chills...and i'd already seen the movie a hundred times. it's just great.
"his name is kal el. he will call himself clark kent. but the world will know him...as superman." awsome.

For me , being a matrix uberfan , the first teaser of Matrix Reloaded and the superbowl trailer even to this day give me goosebumps.
Espcially the first teaser where you hear the familiar music and then finally ending with the shot of neo doing that backflip , i knew the action was going to be on a whole different level.

Other trailers include :
The breathing teaser of Episode 3 and the first teaser of Ep 3.

Kill Bill 1 . Great song that they used ( battle without honor or humanity ...or something like that. ) Made the movie look great.Boy was i disappointed when i finally watched this movie. What a steaming pile of crap !

The first teaser trailer of TTT which was attached to the prints of FOTR. I still remember the day when i first saw it. I was the only one who knew about the trailer and when the movie ended , everyone was standing up. All of the sudden the trailer pops up and everyone was like WTF  . The attack on Helms deep and the first shots of Gollem. AWesome !

The first teaser of Black Hawk Down ( i think). With the Bob Dylan song "Knicking onHeaven's door". THen you get that shot of the rocket blasting into the wall , followed by Leave no Man behind.
That's what you can chills.

Opinions notwithstanding, pretty much all of the trailers for the Matrix sequels and the Star Wars prequels. They were just well-done trailers.
