The Ledger thing is old news... And the guy is entitled to like or dislike whatever movies he wants... The important, in this case, and a big compliment to Nolan from him, is that he really likes BB and is excited about playing The Joker. What he thinks of the rest, I couldn´t care less. If you ask most people on these boards, they probably think most comic book movies suck too...

Yeah, in the sense that he likes the concepts, the characters. Well, he has been given Batman comics to do research for the part and seems very excited about it, so it seems safe to call him a "converted" fan. There are people who don´t like comic book superheroes in general but like Batman ones cuz of the darker psychologic elements.

Like I said, he wouldn´t be the first guy who doesn´t like comic books in general but likes Batman. And if you think about, he´s making a big compliment to Nolan by saying that.

It´s not ignorant. It´s an opinion. It´s taste. It´s subjective and personal.

Ledger was true and told us his own opinion. Besides, it doesn't matter, because the most important thing is his performances and ability to act.

And... Ledger aslo told us that he is going to be very faithful to true Joker from comics (even if he liked what Nicholson did). He wants this character to have the same iconic look (like from comics) and to do everything to just keep Joker as very intersting character.

Well, MOST COMIC BOOK movies do suck.

They've gotten better......But I think there's been so much BAD comic films, I honestly don't blame him for hating "comic book films"........****, what a generalization, huh?
