Butler actually looks close to his age. and while he might be better looking for Dent, i feel that Dent's whole pretty-boy thing isn't necessary for his character in Nolan's world.

i don't doubt Ryan's acting abilities, i've seen Godsford Park, i know he's good, i just worry about how young he looks. while Murphy was great as Scarecrow, at times he looked like he was 17 in the movie.

Murphy didn't look "too" young to me, but I agree with you about Phillipe. He's a talented actor, but he just looks really young.

theres no reason anyone should doubt he's abilities I can't recall a movie where he didn't give a decent performance. Looks wise, ye he does look young, but I feel that could work to the angle of how his appearance is so important that the scarring affects him that much more, and the younger people are the moree their appearance is crucial to everything they do, so he may thank his looks for getting him the status of d.a, it worked for rachel as it sure wasn't her intelligence

Here's how I want Dent to be played.
He hates the Joker, for turning him into a freak.
He also hates Batman because he was the one caught the Joker and wasn't there to stop him in the courtroom.
He might have split personalities, like how he did in the recent comics.
The scarred side hates Batman, and the normal side hates the Joker. And they are constantly at odds.
