Those two are just a couple of whack pack fool writers that are the tools of Singer. I have absolutely no faith in their ability to deliver a great story. Whatever talent they may have is severely limited and doing a Superman story is a bit overwhelming as evidenced by the poor film of Superman Returns.

They were likely hired due to their close association to Singer. I'm really disappointed in their efforts with SR, and I feel that the popular culture icon deserves more than what that whack pack is capable of delivering in terms of quality.

In the final analysis, if Singer and his overinflated ego wants to use Zod, then Harris and Daugherty will massage that ego by writing a story with Zod as the antagonist.

It could be. Its from the second biggest newspaper in Norway. But then again, it is a crappy newspaper and the interview was done at Comic-con.

But then again, they have been planning a SR sequel for a while now, so they may have given him the freedom to do what he wants. But that probably was before SR hit the BO...

And yo wonder why we have a hard time debating with you. Because no mater what we say, you treat is as anti-Singer propaganda instead of how we feel. Yeah somehow we are just attacking Singer to attack Singer, and not that we are mad that he made a lame movie. this is why we are takling it personal. Because no matter how much you claim you are, you are not listening to us. it can be argued both ways: that they knew who the Kid's father is from the beginning and lied thorugh their teeth or didnt really make up their minds until the very end. i'm basing it from what i recalled during the months (years?) leading up to the first press screening: there were so many reports that yo-yoed between Supes is/ is not Jason's father. and because of that i'm inclined to think that they didnt make up their minds about it until towards the end of main production. they shot a lot of things, possibly scenes that would've had an alternate storyline of Jason NOT being related to Superman. its not unusual for a film of this size to do that.

Its like this people. Singer is a moron. He doesn't care about your feelings. He's going to get paid upwards of 10 million regardless. He will continue to mold your expectations and dreams into big fat crap statues forever.

He's going to redo Superman II the only exception is that this time the SFX will be better and the movie's story will suck. Superman Returns was a 260 million dollar waste of time. Since I was 4 I've waited for a NEW superman flick. One where he goes toe to toe with a Super Villain like he does in the comics...ya know Darkseid, Parasite, Doomsday, I'm not a real fan of metallo simply cause I dont like Kryptonite.

However I'm getting off my point. Singer had EVERY opportunity to deliver a fantastic Superman Film BETTER than the originals. He had more money, Superior technology, and a well-spring of source material and what does he do with it? He redoes STM and blows millions on scenes that weren't even used!! Incredible! Fantastic! If I did some stuff like that at my job, I'd get fired. Spiderman gave you everything you wanted, STORY, ACTION, SUPER VILLAIN. I dont wanna hear anymore more singer appreciation. He screwed us big time. If I was still 6 I'd cry, but I'm not. I'm a man now...so I'll just cuss when I hear his name.

Bottom Line: Singer Killed Superman and he did it more brutally and viciously than doomsday ever did. Atleast DD left the man some dignity and let him go out like a G. Singer, demoralized him, destroyed his character, and made him a loser. He's already screwed Superman. It's too late. There is no next time. Look at the FOUNDATION he's built. WHAT CAN HE MAKE FROM IT? Except the leaning tower of Crap.

Singer can rot in hell for all I care. He's just earned an enemy 4 LIFE.

he serves the same purpose as Richard White: Lois is commited to someone else, she aint the same available single white female as she was before he left. to Singer's mind, giving Lois a fiance isnt enough for the drama (since she can always leave him) but Lois having a child with someone else is just the kind of "insurmountable challenge" Singer is looking for to throw Supes' way. of course if he acutally did as he intended it would've killed the any kind of future relationship between Lois and Supes.

i still say that Supes being a father should've been reserved for the 3rd movie. the ending of SR, beautiful as it was, didnt belong to a comeback movie after a 20 year haitus.

No. As far as the story is concerned, she doesnt need a kid unless the kid is Superman's. This is basic storytelling. You could just as easily sell Lois' "moving on" with her engagment/marriage to Richard White. I always knew from the moment that Lois had a son that it was Superman's. He had no reason to be there. In fact, that story would be a LOT better if the kid didn't exist whatsoever. We could see Lois out on a date with Richard or someother kind realtionship building scene showing that they do love eachother deeply. You never got that in SR. But, really you didnt get much out of SR at all.

In keeping with Singer's "touchy feely" stuff. Instead of fighting Zod, Superman will go into therapy with him to work out their problems.

In Superman Returns 2 there will be twice as many punches as in Superman Ruturns.
