Movies Based On Books, Plays, Etc.

This thread is for your imagination to wander through. What you do is list a title of a book, play, video game, ride (like POTC) etc. that you would like to be turned into a movie.

Examples:

The Importance of Being Earnest-Play

You can also list what actors you'd like to play the main parts for that movie, and so forth.

I'd personally love to see a movie based on Jersey Boys, the Four Seasons musical biopic that I saw in December and absolutely blew me away. I'm not sure who I'd cast, but the guy who played Frankie Valli in the play should definitely play him.

I agree. I'd love to see them. I haven't read them yet though, but their cover art looks very interesting...and exactly how many books are there in that series?

there's seven in all, I think the first two books could be fitted into a whole movie though and the fourth is pretty much a big flashback

I thought Twister and Jurassic park were two great films from the books by Michael Crichton

they should make THe Stand by Stephen King into a movie, that book was so awesome

I think that possibly The Legend of Zelda games could make a good trilogy or saga of movies. And of course the upcoming Halo movie. (I hope it's a trilogy)
