This is the same way it was last year! It just something I do in the summer because I have so much time on my hands! But don't worry, there'll be other threads around here I'll make during the year, for intelligent discussions and what not.

Good, because I am now 95% sure that you don't suck and that I love your taste in movies.

It's part of my appeal?

Fo' Sure... So I just finished the second draft of my script, "A Summer of Vengeance: A Portrait of Teenage Life"... And now it's time to treat myself to a movie... On the venue today:

Samurai X: Director's Cut (1999)
Mighty Joe Young (1949)
Little Ceasar (1931)
The Doors (1991)
Lost in Translation (2003)
Princess Bride (1987)

I'm leaning toward Mighty Joe Young, thoughts?

Well its got to be better than the remake so enjoy.

It's also got this backing it:

Though Willis H. O'Brien gets top special-effects billing, Ray Harryhausen actually did 85%-90% of the stop-motion animation for this film, although the animation is based on O'Brien's designs and storyboards.

Also I saw the remake when it first came out, which was 8 years ago, I was ten so I liked it

Princess Bride or Lost in Translation.

Samurai Champloo > Samurai X, IMO.

Could someone recommend me something to watch tonight? I really like good crime films, I don't mind if it's an oldie.

Oldies: Angels with Dirty Faces or I'm a Fugitive from a Chain Gang
New: Inside Man- It's Solid
