That's a popular theory these days. A lot of scientists tend to "fill in the gaps," so to speak, with God until empirical data proves how something works.
Some people simply acknowledge that they don't know what happened during the creation of the universe. I'm sure there are a lot of scientists out there who know that the Big Bang doesn't follow certain scientific laws but just assume that there are other, undiscovered sciences and laws that cover it. Maybe it's beyond our capacity to understand, since obviously the universe doesn't exist simply for human beings to understand it. But just because there are things that people don't know, doesn't mean that they automatically MUST assume the existence of a God.Scorpion said:It baffles me how people will accept ANY answer, no matter how complex or how utterly ridiculous for the universe's beginning, EXCEPT God. People want so badly for there not to be a God so that they don't have to answer for their actions or be accountable for anything they do. And they want to think that Humanity is the ultimate source of authority in the universe. I got news for ya guys, you're in for a rude awakening.

If I got my hands on him, I´d get rid of the jacket or update it somewhat.
Too 90´s.
A thing that has always bugged the hell outta me in black superheroes is that aside from Icon and maybe Storm, most aren´t usually very high in the food chain in terms of power.
They´re either streetlevelers with a gimmick or base their powers on technology.
Where are the equivalents of Superman and Wonder Woman, REAL demigods instead of guys with toys?

LanternFan said:You know what pisses me off to no end? The demeaning way that purple superheros have been portrayed in comics. I mean how many purple heroes can you think of just off the top of your head???
That's what I thought. I'm tired of this poop.
sinewave said:Yeah, that jacket is looking pretty tacky these days. If I could draw worth a damn I'd post some ideas for a few updates to it. Anyone else feel free to, though.
Anubis said:Yeah, thats pretty much the main problem with black Superheros. Sure, people can respect a hero without powers. I mean, look at Batman. But there should at least be a few that have that massive power that seems to be lacking in black heros. There was Icon, the current Firestorm is maybe one of the most powerful heros period. But you look at everybody else and they're all pretty much moderate power to street level.
BlackOpsTengu said:The Big Bang theory assumes an original concentration of energy. Where did this energy come from? Astronomers sometimes speak of origin from a "quantum mechanical fluctuation within a vacuum." However, an energy source is still needed. Actually, there is no secular origin theory, since every idea is based on preexisting matter or energy.
