lemme remember. She fights Stiltman, then she goes to see a public relations woman who was giving her advise on how to improve her image as a superheroine. Then she chased something streaking through the sky, and when it crashed, it had a bunch of Brood on it (The Brood being Marvels rip -off of the aliens from Alien, in case you're unfamiliar)
Stilt-Man is a stupid villain, always has been, always will be. And the cliffhanger has the Brood, who're quite possibly the least interesting villains in the MU to me.
Supposedly the ongoing plot of this series is going to be focusing on Carol trying to up her superhero profile, and frankly, that idea kind of bores me to death, at least as a Ms. Marvel plot. That kind of thing works for Booster Gold in 52, because Booster can be a materialistic ass quite often, so it makes sense for him to be concerned about his image and getting on magazine covers and wanting to make sure people know his name and all that. But that doesn't really work for Carol.
