This is just so absurd its unreal.

You're the news. Get your priorities straight.

That is frickin ridiculous...but isn't the only example of media priorities being out of whack.

Someone on CNN held up a newspaper with the Bieber story on the front page, and the story of the Lufthansa robbery arrest was moved to another page.

If I was her I know that I wouldn't give them any type of interview again for that bull****. I'd tell them to go **** themselves for daring to pull that on me.

She should have gotten up and walked out. Would have sent a hell of a message.

She didn't? I sure as hell would have.

In case anyone was wondering, the reason was $$$$$$

They were hoping for a spike in viewers and then show commercials for the advertisers. News is not about informing people anymore. It's for making money.

Id have talked over the anchorwoman and told the producer that the story about the spoiled brat could wait until I had finished informing the public on more important matters. I cant even believe that was called breaking news. No one gives two ****s about Bieber anymore except little girls and they sure as hell aint watching MSNBC.

And its not really the anchor's fault, she's directed by the producer to report what they give her. And yes its about money.

Sounds like something Ron Burgundy would pull.

Stay classy, MSNBC.

The only reason MSNBC should have interrupted for Bieber, was if he was the one getting his face eaten by that teen in Florida.

Well TDM, if you're a good boy maybe Santa will get you that for X-mas.

Proof that pop culture is more important than US political issues.

This looks like it should be a comedy sketch.... but it's not. I don't blame the anchor woman one bit, there was probably a part of her despising having to do it, that said she should have taken a stand to some degree. Shame on MSNBC management. I could never imagine a news outlet down here breaking news for something so ridiculous, especially when it involves national security.

It was their Rupert Murdoch-like owner trying to shift the focus away, a la Anchorman.

She didn't? I sure as hell would have.

She's a Democrat congresswoman on a left-wing propaganda news network. That would be like a Republican hack leaving a Fox News interview. They are all part of the machine.

When word got out, CNN made a banner on their website calling it "Breaking News". I laughed.

“To be honest, I don’t care what he does with eggs as long as he’s not fertilising them.”

So symbolic of the general public's priorities it's not even funny.

I could see the Newsroom making fun of this.

I got The Body's attention!
