Iron Man just won Best Summer Movie So Far...in competition of Indy,Narnia 2,Speed Racer and Sex and the City.

:word:

Very cool win, just watched it, Jon was very funny as usual.

^Yeah I mentioned it in the IM BO thread. No much competition if you ask me. :hehe:

^There was also a clip with Ben Stiller, Jack Black and RDJ with an Iron Man mask on fighting Jack in a Panda suit. Hilarious.

That skit would have been epic had Bale come into the room after that kid dissed RDJ. :funny:

But Robert was awesome that entire show. Loved how he demanded his own intro.

i missed out on watching it, from what i heard RDJ totally owned the night right?

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

"It will do until The Dark Knight comes out , then your screwed . Christian Bale would kick your ass . "Hilarious :hehe: :woot:

That was great from Downey Jr., "Hey, sing us another little song Black".

:woot:

Downey was great throughout that whole skit. I like where, after the kid smarts off to him, he kinda jacks him up; "You wanna make it until graduation". :funny:

And that entrance was simply boss.

Oh yeah, RDJ rules, and I'm sure Bat fans like the bit on what that geek said about TDK.

That was pretty funny, RDJ is awesome. I got a kick outta scene where he's reading the Variety piece "Iron Man makes $3 billion".

haha I liked seeing him get pissed at stiller's low blow about his past drug addiction...and of course punking that little kid for talking trash...we all know Iron Man>>>Batman until further notice.

^Yeah we all know Iron Man>>>>Batman and probably continue to do so even after TDK comes out. :hehe: What a dumb kid. He would soon eat his words after Iron Man wipes the floor with The Dark Knight.

i wanted to join Downey and beat the kid up for saying that.

I'm laughing just thinking about that :woot: that would have been hilarious! Did anyone notice that most WB movie plugs were absent in the Paramount broadcast? Riiiigggghhhht....good gawd the MTV Movie Awards get more painful to watch every year.....you do realize that no one voted for s*** right? Every one was either paid to be there....paid to be there...or were on contract to promote their movie for Paramount....shameless...not the actors...not the directors...not the producers...just Paramount and MTV as a whole...

RDJ was hilarious all night long. Not to stir anything up(I love Marvel way more than DC), but I think TDK will own all of the summer movies(Iron Man should easily be 2nd though). You know its MTV when Depp won best villain over No Country For Old Men's Javier Bardem

Good point, hadn't really thought of that.

He did at that. That Tropic Thunder skit was the funniest thing I've seen from these awards in years.

Anyone notice the cuts to the crowd as Jack Black did his RDJ mega intro? A lot of people got in to the spirit of it but a some looked perturbed. I think Iron Man kicking box office ass and generating a new franchise that is loved across the board is rubbing a few hollywood types the wrong way. Even Michael Bay looked annoyed as IM stole some of his thunder.
