I don't know about Banshee or Syrn but Dazzler is because she can absorb it therfre being immune to it.

Well like if someone could control temperatures of the body and they tried to do it on Storm, wouldn't she be immune to that?

Not trying to make this another millionth Storm discussion thread, but I think that in cases writers have to portray a character as vunerable in some situations when it comes to a team book ie. the X-Books.

Meh, she probably is only immune to weather she is in control of..

I'm not sure on this one but wasn't Blob immune to dying of obesity, like his arteries glogging.

Storm has indeed been stated to be immune to weather related cold at least. when they were reworking her costume they were going to give her a warmer costume and she stated " I am never cold "

To be resistant, especially highly resistant is to be immune. Well that's the definition that has been instilled in me, which probably differs from yours.

Like I said, it's probably only to the weather she is in control of. Not to say she can never ever be affected because she is the bestist.

'Fraid, I'm not a Storm pro myself. A fan but not a pro. I've not read all there is to read on Storm, but if there was a one or a couple of issues where her powers made her sick then apparently she is not resistant/immune to her powers, to a certain extent. In other words, her mutation will only protect her up to a certain point.

Oddly enough, the cold was not the thing that made her faint. It was the disruption in the EM field of the planet which hamper her control over the weather.

Yeah, I remember that one. Then Bishop had to drain all of her energy so she'd get calm. And I think it was X-treme X-men #26. I get confused with it too.
