In March, 2 very close friends of mine died within 10 days of each other. Then the week after that, my mom had a stroke. It was a pretty rough month. LOTS of traveling, and then I moved back in to my parents house to help my mom out. I should be here for another 6 months or so.

My former co-worker from the movie theater moved county's to become a teacher. I didn't hear from him in maybe a year. One day I heard he was missing and his car was parked near a river. It took a while for his body to be found. Someone told me his fear was drowning. I went to his funeral and it was surreal. I'll always remember him because he trained me in and was always nice to me.

Last year a fellow class mate went out drinking. He went missing and was found in a river a couple of days later.

So some time during the summer, I think on the 14th of August, a classmate of mine was on a speedway driving a racecar and crashed and... that was it.

I wasn't close to her or anything, but she was my teammate and direct partner for a green group project for a sustainability class, so towards the end of last semester, I did interact with her for quite some time and then right after that in the summer... poof.

It's really sad. Especially because I don't think she had any siblings, I feel for her parents the most.

Her birthday was in July, so she just turned 21 before her fatal accident.

I know how you are feeling. A girl I went to school with and had known since Kindergarten was killed my Junior year. And a boy I went to school with was killed the year after I graduated. Both were killed in wrecks caused by other people.
