Oh! An movie adaption is a comic from the movie?! Now i get it! I wondered what "movie adaption" could be.

I thought it was maybe an figure/doll...

Duncan's katana

They are made by Marto, they come with a certificate that they are genuine Highlander swords.

Hey Cobbs just so you know it is a major faux paux to hang a Japanese
blade edge down. Even when its in the saya (Scabbard).

They got it right in Kill Bill with the Hanzo scene but in KB II at the
end Bill's sword is blade down on the table in the saya.
GRRRRR. That just so bugs me for some reason... :D

Bu the way, it has always astounded me how people from other countries always seem to have a basic knowledge of English and other launguages. You guys do much better than basic! I have always admired that. We Americans are for the most part really crappy with that....

Dang! I didn't know that. I made that base myself. Thankgod it's not a genuine Japanese Katana. Otherwise I would be cursed by now.

Nah, it's not a curse. How should I put it.....
It's kind of an insult to the sword! :D
Really nice job on the Katanakake. (Sword Stand)

I turned it upside down no, thanks for the suggestion.
It makes perfect sense, this doesn't harm the cutting edge of the blade.

Exactly, Even in tha Saya you don't want the edge resting against it. If you look at how Samurai (movies or pictues) notice they always draw with the sharp side up. They actual draw it so the edge never touches the saya.

And now, after that brief interlude, back to the topic.......

Youv'e got a pretty nice collection. I have so much stuff, probably most of it in the garage, I wonder what my collection would look like if i put it in one place.

Question for collector's. What is the one thing you would keep if Satan came along and stole your whole collection except for one item?

Mine? I'll have to think about it and get back to ya.

What's the one piece I would keep away from the devil?

That's hard...
There's a lot of memories in my comicbook collection.
I bought lots of 'em in different stores all over Holland and over the world.
From a lot of stuff I know when I bought it, how much it cost and why I bought it.

I can't really say what I would keep, I'll just try and outsmart the bastard.

Cobblepot,

Maybe i'm annoying: But as you see the 30" Batman in Holland, PM me! Then i hope i see it in Belgium to!

Steve

No, i must check the toystores in Ostend! The 8 of July i go to Sluis and Oostburg. Hopefully they have it then! But i want not spend more than 60 euro for it!

And 24 of September (a Saturday) i go to Rotterdam (where you live!) !

But not to visit Rotterdam, but for the DCE Finals Maybe i can visit some shops/toystores/comicbookshops,... Not every music corps that appears that day is so good. The best ones are Beatrix and Jubal!

Visit www.drumcorps.nl for more information about "drum corps" I think the Amercian people on this board MUST know what that is, drum corps!

Maybe we can meet eachother there?!!! It's in the Sparta Stadion, hope you know that place?!

Steve

I can see the Sparta stadion from my window view.

Tell me if it's any good after you've read it.

The paperback is for sale in the comicshop i frequently visit. about 20 euros I think.

I'll let you know, yendor also has the Hulk Grey paperback for sale.

I'm thinking of going to Dord 2morrow. I've never been to the comicbook shops over there.

I heard there was two, a college of mine lives there.

How many times did you see BB total?
I watched it twice I will watch it again.

Oh yeah! There are 2! I forgot about 1. They're called 313 and Sjors.

I saw it once, loved it. Can't wait to see it again.
